For the sake of the question, along these lines, what would you say is the demographic for the Mazda Enthusiast. The word Enthusiast is key. custom turbo, how to modify the injection pattern to get more fuel? i have a 93 Mazda GE626 2litre EFI (this model never ever came with a turbo) I managed to weld custom manifolds and get a small turbo hooked up with around 5pounds boost. Now air is no problem, but since its efi how am i gonna get more fuel in there? Put bigger injectors?? since this is a nice family car and least modified model i dont think i'll ever find a custom computer for this vehicle.. any tips pls??

Is it a big turn off if a guy love to work on his car a lot? One of my hobbies is fixing my car. I love to modified my ride and pretty much treat it as my baby. I tried to washed it every two weeks. Most of the weekends, i spend in my garage under the hood and under my car just fixing stuff. Good car to work on and autocross? well i recently got into autocross. I drove my friends miata and actually posted a pretty good time for it being my very first time. out of 31 people in the cars class i ranked 9th. so i got addicted very quickly. I'm looking for a car i can work on and eventually autocross. I have literally no hobbies. I work on my truck for fun. I have a 1999 Silverado 4.3l that i've done quite a bit of work to including; turning the motor into a 273 stroker (4.03x3.62), ported and polished heads, ported throttle body, rebuilt 4l60e with corvette servo, 3.47 gears in the rear end and a whole lot of other things all this resulting in 331.5hp to the rear wheels from a truck that originally only put 170hp to the rear .. to say the least i can turn a wrench I have a 350 small block crate engine rated at 290hp and a richmond gears rebuilt T10 4 speed transmission, and a ford 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. All i'm looking for is a car would be good for autocross. A lot of people run imports at these events and sometimes you see a few corvettes.. i'm just curious to what some other options are.. i've heard that 3rd gen camaros can be made into pretty good autocross vehicles.. Goals: lightweight car very easy to modify suspension engine bay is large enough to fit a small block chevy all ideas are welcome but if it's not a gm vehicle could you at least find where someone else has put a 350 in it before me i'm considering stepping down the 350s displacement to 327 or 302 to allow for a higher rpms and a longer power band as having a wide power band is crucial in autocross

Car Insurance - Looking for new vehicle, how to get blanket full coverage before buying new car? Okay, I am currently with Geico Insurance and have been a customer for several years. I have a vehicle (97 ford escort) that I just have liability coverage on. I am currently looking to buy a used/new car with in the next week but I will have to finance it so... I will need to get full coverage insurance. My issue is this. I do not know what car I want or going to end up with. Is there any way, like a blanket full coverage, that I can do while I look for the vehicle and then modify it when I get approval for the financing of the vehicle? I do not want to upgrade my current car's insurance coverage because it is breaking down (fuel pump issues) and they have to visually inspect it before insurance can be upgraded.

Custom Car totaled - modified? Hello, I was in a car accident about 2 /12 weeks ago and my car got totaled. It was not my fault. A lady ran a stop sign and hit my vehicle. The car in question is my 2007 Custom Chevy Cobalt SS. It has way too many modifications such as: body kit, butterfly doors, dual-pipe exhaust system, rims, some mods to the engine and so fourth. The company I am currently dealing with is USAA. My insurance is Progressive. USAA has already taken liability for the accident and is going to send an appraiser out to appraise the car. The KBB value of my car is 13,000$. Unfortunately, I cannot find all the receipts for all the work that was put in. My question is: Is USAA responsible for the aftermarket parts that I put on the car regardless of some of the missing receipts? Are they responsible for any of the modifications to the car? If so, Is it just cash value of the parts on top of the KBB value, or where ever they get the value of the car from? Okay, people aren't answering my question. I'm not trying to claim money from my insurance. I am wanting to know if the party that is at fault if they are responsible for the aftermarket parts.

car buying- am i getting scammed? alright, here's my predicament. im looking for a used car and while looking on the internet i came across one in particular which had some serious aftermarket parts on it (not quite fast & furious but better looking than 90% of modified cars on the road). its 14 years old with about 125,000 km on it. Here's where it gets fishy. The seller allegedly just moved to Labrador and the car is at the shipping company at the moment. he wants to use "eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection"(even though the ad wasn't on ebay), send the car to my address via shipping container for 5 days for me to check it out, then id either put the car back in and send it back or pay the price for it and keep it. the car costs under 10 grand. the reason why im not just walking away from this right away is because: 1) the car looks sick (compared to what i drive) 2) seller seems to be loaded (one of the car pix shows a caddy, a 350z, and at least 1 other car in his garage) so this whole "il pay for shipping" thing seems more believable 3)seller appears to have relatively little knowledge of the car and the parts in it (maybe acquired from a divorce?) 4) price seems believable for a 14 year car with 125k km on it please give me any input as im very interested in the car but dont want to get scammed. heres a recent email i got "The car will be delivered to your address that you will provide in a trailer, in max 2 business days(depend on your exact location) and after the 5 days of inspection period if you are not satisfied(not your case) you announce eBay and they will take the car. The car require regular gas, i don't know much about cars you will see all the details when you receive the car, you can take it to a mechanic. As soon as i receive your full name and ship address from you i will forward them to eBay and they will contact you with an invoice in which you will see all the details of the transaction(terms, shipping, safety,payment...etc). what can i do if a car dealership is trying to scam my parents? My parents bought a vehicle from a buy here pay here lot, and they've tried to scam extra money from my parents twice. The first time they sent a letter and a copy of the contract that had been modified (by scratching out numbers and re-writing them), and the second, when my parents only owed 50 or so dollars, they mailed the check in, and it was sent back with a letter and another modified contract that stated they owed 500. I have the original contract plus all receipts for payments and all letters that have been sent.

how do i modify the camera in GTA IV? i want to modify the camera for the vehicles in GTA IV (4) because the camera in the game is hard to follow. when i do a hard turn left or right the camera doesnt turn with the car as quickly as it does in most other games (Grand Turismo, Driver, Driver 2, Flatout, Nascar Racing season, Project Gotham Racing) etc. i want the camera to be more static. for example, when i make a hard right turn i would like the camera to follow the trunk of my car closely, i think rockstar created the camera to follow the direction of current travel more closely, as it is right now when i do a hard right turn the camera seems to follow the direction of travel more closely. so if im sliding sideways at a high rate of speed i will see the side of the car because the car is still traveling in the direction that the camera is trained to follow. is there a camera file that i can tweak? if so how would i go about tweaking the camera just for the vehicles??

Can anyone help with a Vauxhall Vectra (1996)-keeps blowing fuse number 22 (hazzards flashers).? The car is an 18, 16 valve saloon. The fuse supplies hazzard flashers, indicators, interior light and radio. Hazzard switch, interior light , indicator lights and radio have all been disconnected yet when the fuse number 22 is put in it still blows. When the green wiring harness on passenger side is detached from the rear of the vehicle then the car will accept the fuse -resulting in no tail lights but the indicators and hazzard flashers work again! Car was never modified electrically. If anyone can help with this it would be great.

How can a car be made more fuel efficient? I have heard of numerous ways, if you have any more, or can explain the ones I list here, please leave a post! I know cars can be fitted with some sort of gas canister but this means sacrificing the spare wheel. I also believe this can only be done to petrol, not diesel, cars, but I may be wrong. I know that fuel injected vehicles can be 'chipped'- modified electronically so the engine manages it's fuel consumption better. Sold car before title came in? So I have a customer that sold their car before they recieved their title. Here is the whole story. They purchased a vehicle from us, and also had a second vehicle. They payed off the second vehicle and sold it to their sister before the title came in from the bank. They removed the temp tags from the vehicle we sold them and put it on the second vehicle they sold to their sister. I told them they can no do that. I've seen alternators, such as a prestolite 12v 140 amp, rewound with thinner gauge wire and with more winds and used as a regenerative brake (energized while coasting to use the car's forward motion to charge main battery pack) in electric vehicles. I was wondering if a 3G alternator from a 94-95 Mustang could be rewound the same way? What type of wire would I need to do this? You may not use rubber bands or anything elastic to attach from the mousetrap to the axles of your vehicle. 4. Either axle, or both, may be used as the drive axle(s). 5.The entire vehicle must start behind the designated START line. If You were gonna buy a car for around $25k dollars. Which of these 3 would you pick? M3, NSX, E500? Im talking about a 01 BMW M3, 91 Acura NSX, or 04 Mercedes E500. I love all three and as far as im concerned there all sex on wheels. For the most part they will all be modified slightly but they will be daily drivers too. I have a second vehicle which is a motorcycle but for weekends really. Remember I don't really ride with anyone but my girlfriend or a buddy so space isn't much of an issue. I love sports cars but i want something luxury aswell. If it were your guys or gals money what would you buy? Personally I love all 3 but I can't for the life of me seem to figure out what i wan't due to my indecisiveness. Just want your peoples opinion on what YOU would buy. Thanks.

Ford Question Here...? OK, I've always been a fan of Ford's F-150 and the Mustang, but Ford, for a long while, forsook improvement and innovation especially in its line of cars. This has been one of the major factors in their loss of market share in the US, coupled with the fact that most foreign car companies committed to improvement and innovation, thus eating away at US car companies' market share in the US. SO, why do you think Ford has not implemented some of the car lines/ideas/concepts of their European Division into the North American Division of the compnay? I think some of those cars, appropriately modified for American roads, would do well in American markets. What do you think? Modify a Mazda 6? My mom is thinking of buying a new car, ranging from a mini cooper S, to FJ cruiser..but there all...2 door and un-family like. While the Mazda 6, hence it is a bit over normal...can be made into a sporty cool looking vehicle that I can ride as well. Tuning a 2000-2005 Impala...? ok first off, if any of you knows any sites or forums that deal with the topic of tuning newer FRONT WHEEL DRIVE chevy's (-_- j body cav's included...dangit), or any sites devoted specifically to upgrading the 2000-2005 chevy impala, could you post the urls. i know, its an idiotic idea, but its looking like this is going to be the car im going to get, and i made a bit of a pact that i would never leave any vehicle i owned stock. i was doing some research and the impalas are front wheel drive (dang) v6 (meh, workable) over head valve configured (DANG!) engines... -_-. and yes, i know how much of an idiot i am to even suggest modifying a car like that for power, but thats the exact reason im doing it. anyways, any information or links about supercharging the impala 2000-2005 model, would be greatly appreciated. now, if you'll excuse me, im off to order more prozac...
