I found my new car was on hold in the Toyota Service Centre ( Malaysia ) for more than 1 month. Initialy , they don't want to tell me what happend. After I insisted then they just told me that my car was found damaged for the engine parts as below : a)CYC HEAD ASSY b)PISTON STD c)PISTON RING SET STD d)GASKET KIT e)CYCLINDER BLOCK f)CONNECTING ROD Almost 80% demaged . They replace the demaged parts, but whatever parts which can use , they install back to the engine. toyota avanza engine defect(broken)? I wish to lodge a complain on my two months old toyota avanza 1.5G which I purchased on 24.3.2008. On 30.5.2008, while driving, the engine gave out a loud noise and broke down. The car was then towed back to Toyota service centre in K.Terengganu.Malaysia. Upon checking, it was found that there was a cracking hole of about 1 cm in diameter to the left of the engine block casing. My question is: Is the Toyota car so unreliable? Will the Toyota recall this car and replace a new car to me which I think I am entitle to because the broken engine was cause by factory defect i.e negligence on your part. With the slogan "As a company that prides itself on Customer Satisfaction" I deeply feel that Toyota should bear all the responsibility to overcome this problem amicanly and satisfactorary. Tq. Looking forward to your speedy reply.

How bad is suzuki car? i know it's very popular in the world and it's by far the cheapest in the list.
Car price after 1st May 2010? Please verify whether this news is true ! PUTRAJAYA, Jan 8 - The mechanism for fuel pricing in Malaysia has finally been finalized and controlled under one mechanism, which also takes the high and lower income group people into consideration, according to Finance Trade Minister Tan Sri Anuar Ali."From May 1, the fuel will be pegged at RM 3.90 per litre for RON97,while RON95 will increase to RM 3.70 per litre. However, the prices of national-made vehicles will be lowered by at least 40 percent. For example, a full-spec family sedan Proton Persona 1.6 litre engine will cost around RM 23,000.00 excluding road tax and insurance. Import tax and excise duty will be revised to only 30 percent, from the current 200 percent. Imported vehicles such as the new Toyota Camry 2.4 litre engine will cost around RM 65,000.00." he said. The mechanics has been said to be undertaken by a team of experts fromAustralia and Canada who were earlier briefed on the issue of subsidy in this country, whereas after consideration by the transport minister, they have signed the constitution that the system will be made on May 1, the day it goes into effect.under the new system, there will be a major effect on the existing consumers who have already purchased a vehicle and to those who are in the midst of repaying the loan of their vehicle to their financial institutions. Ahmad Tajuddin said the government might also re-introduce a cash return annually to Malaysians who own a 1,500 cc and below vehicle. The amount have yet to be decided but he assured that the amount will compensate the price of fuel by at least half to eligible Malaysians based on bumi quota. Malaysia 50 years of Indepent Day, shame or proud? Malaysia has been a free country for 50 years but not much of things has been achieved. Unlike other countries like South Korea, Singapore and others who late gain independent and political steadiness, Malaysia technology and economy is far behind from them. Our National car PROTON is the worst image for our country. Others foreign manufacturer can successfully carve their names on the world list like TOYOTA, KIA and others but PROTON? Everytime the new product came out is almost the same as the previous car's design. Take a look at the Proton Saga, ten years ago is the same design as ten years later .No improvement at all! .This time, the Persona is juz like the shape of GEN2. No wonder lose to the foreign imported car.Memalukan.

To cut down on ur costs, I will be paying for the landcruiser (But not modifications) and to cut down on hassle i have already done alot of the prelimanry planning such as budget, maps, visa research and much more. All of the above such as time of departure, route, and all aspects of the trip are negotiable and open for discussion as this is going to be a team effort. The trip will need to be approx 4/5 months and longer depending on the route and chill time. Accomadation will be a mix of tents and hostels / hotels. Why Malaysians LOVE Toyota & Honda cars BUT not MAZDA cars ? Mazda, Toyota & Honda all are Japanese cars. But why only those 2 brands are better acknowledged but not Mazda. Don't forget the fact that Mazda has established a name for itself, recognized & won MANY Awards in most parts of the world, including the Asian region. However, popularity of the brand Mazda is dim in the regions of Malaysia, whose neighbour Singapore is comercially aware of the mentioned brand. You can see for yourself at http://berjaya-mazda.com/ .So, please explain why such a scenario is taking place now? Regards, Mazda Malaysia Blog http://berjaya-mazda.com/

Hello,i'm looking around for my first car.I've narrowed it down to these 3 models.Which one is great to hit the roads in Malaysia?I'm asking in this section because only Malaysian will know the roads in Malaysia, kan??Hehe. '05 Toyota Caldina GT4 '05 Honda Integra DC5 Type-R '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GT I'm looking for something sporty, not so big or small and good engine(fuel consumption, power, maintenance, etc.) For both the Caldina and Integra,it will be from parallel importers. I am more interested in the Integra as it is a coupe, but do you think it's too small??Is it about the same size as the City/Fit Aria?? The Caldina is very sporty and cool, but it is quite big and looks like a family car sometimes. The Lancer is ok,but still,it looks like a car someone who is married will drive. Hello, I am driving up to Thailand (from Singapore). Please give me hints on what to look out for eg road signs? Hello, I have a group of 6(Singapore plate) cars that plan to take a drive from Singapore to hat-yai to attend a wedding. Can y'all who have done the border crossings before tell me about the two checkpoints I need to cross? Also road safety tips- eg- signals (in malaysia ands thailand). We will be taking the N/S highway. I know it is better to take a coach, but we've got a lot of time (we're self-employed, small time business partners- 8 of us.) Our cars are all singapore registered, and, in case this is handy, the 6 cars are: Mercedes Benz 190E 2004 Toyota Vios 2006 Hyundai Avante Chevrolet Epica (abt 5-6 ys) 2003 Hyundai Matrix 2005 Daihatsu Materia THANKS A LOT! Why we didn't enjoy benefit ? Or do we? I had working at Brunei for some time. I found that Toyota Corolla has Diesel version. Beside that Toyota Innova is using diesel fuel. Toyota Corolla Diesel didn't introduce to local market, yet Toyota Innova local version is not using diesel fuel. I heard in Malaysia are using lower class diesel, thus Automobile didn't introduce diesel version of saloon car. Is it true? Can't we enjoy a low fuel, since the market had been down for sometime. If we keep wait the oil market might go up again. Since the government had declare the increase of government servant salary, the change of decrease fuel price has become impossible. At Brunei 10 Brunei dollar can buy 27.77L of Regular. 10 Brunei = RM 21.1 Who is cheaper?
What would happen if the F1 rear diffusers were declared illegal? First off this isn't an "are they / aren't they" legal question so I don't want those answers. Rather I'm curious about the rules and any presidents that exist and what effect they would have on the previous races and standings. So yeah Williams, Toyota, and Brawn are using rear diffusers on all six of their cars which the competing teams have all challenged as being illegal. And it looks like the case won't be settled until mid April (after Malaysia). So what I want to know is if the rear diffusers are declared illegal what will happen to the three teams? Would the points be erased from the constructors and drivers, with the rest of the field not using diffusers be pushed up filling up the rest of the points places? I.E. Would the Australian podium be amended with Hamilton, Alonso, and Buemi taking the top three spots? So yeah I realize I wrote presidents when I meant precedents.
