new car reviews? There has to be a lot of new car afficionados who keep abreast of all the new releases! I was looking at a number of cars/mini SUVs tonight..all in the ballpark of about 30,000. The Cars were the Nissan Altima 2.5L and the Pontiac G6 coupe..both about $31,000 Canadian The Mini Suv's I looked at were the KIA Spotage, Ford Escape and the Pontiac Montana and were all about $30,000 Canadian. The Montana was a bit cheaper but not by much. ANy opinions on any of these cars?? Basic Opions, own it and love it, own it and hate it..anything you guys can tell me about any of these models , or perhaps give me another model to look at would be great. Also I know that there are official car review sites..could someone tell me where they are? Thanks .
Can I get full features-info and reviews for used/new cars? I'm looking into buying some cars. However, when it comes to shopping around, i don't have the time to travel to all the car dealers around here. Also, i find various reviews all over the place, but the info is so scattered. Does anyone know a site or source that archives not only the reviews for cars (old and new), but also lists the features of the car itself?... Especially the performance features such as enigine size, mpg, and transmission.
I am just in the process of buying a new car from Carcraft, and have been reading very bad reviews about it? The car is exactly what we are looking for and seems to be very reasonably priced. I have been to see it and it looks immaculate and we have also done an AA check on it. My problem is that they have said that the log book is at a different branch and they will send it to us through the post. Has anyone have anything good to say about them and should i buy a car before seeing the log book The bad reviews are of Carcraft itself, not the car
I want to find a (some) useful car site(s) that I can learn about new cars and events etc? Hey everyone. I recently moved to Japan, and unfortunately there isn't useful car magazines that come out reviewing the specs of new cars etc. Is there any nice sites that review new cars that come out? I'm more interested in new stock cars arriving and their specs and new technology, but also, if you guys know any good sites for news in the tuning world (especially in Japan), that would be sick too. Thanks to all!
New car, websites for pricing and information? My parents want to buy a new car for themselves but are forcing me to do all their research. What are some good websites that provide price reports on new cars? What about other websites I should check out to help me with the research? Like, consumer reviews, general car information, etc. I don't really know where to start. Any help would be great... thanks!
I want to buy a new car in a month of time.? Hi , I am planning to buy a new car. I am bit confused among Maruti swift VDI/ABS, Fiat Punto, Ford Figo cars. I have gone through the reviews of all these cars. Please suggest which is the best among them.
Advice on buying a new/used car? Hi Folks I live in the UK and thinking of buying a new or used car. I don't know much about cars, so apart from reading car reviews on websites such as What Car, Top Gear, Parkers, The AA, Auto Trader and Auto Express, can you suggest other things that I can do in order to decide the 'perfect' car for me? By the way, what is the best month(s) of the year in which to buy a new/used car? Thanks in advance.
What are good websites with user reviews on used cars? I am going to buy a used car made between year 2000 to 2004. I checked Edmunds.com, which has some user reviews, but not many. Is there another website what has more user reviews than edmunds.com? Yahoo Auto only has reviews for new cars. i am looking for reviews on the model made before 2004.
Can you give me car reviews? Can you please give me some advice. I have to buy a new car. Which ones are good in quality? I'm looking for affordable, $20000 to $40000, nice, and good mpg.
Our new car isn't getting the mileage we expected, what can we do? We just bought a new car and the highway mpg was estimated at 34. I've read reviews of people getting even higher. However, our mpg over Christmas driving (about 900 miles), was disappointing at 29 mpg. Now I speed so would driving 75-80 as opposed to 60-65 really cut my mileage by 5 mpg? Anything else I can try to increase my mpg? Oh I know I lose mpg by speeding, but I don't care. If I gain an extra 30 minutes per 3 hour trip and it costs me a couple bucks in gas, so be it. Time's worth more to me than money.
Looking to buy a new car, help me decide? I really want to buy a new car and I'll be ready to do that in a couple of months. I really like the Ford Focus and Toyota Corolla. Reviews for the Corolla seem to be better but I don't want to get the same kind of car as the girl I work closely with. I don't want her to think that I am copying her. Should I just go with the Focus?
Did I get a bargain on my new car purchase? Just agreed to purchase a brand new Ford Fiesta 3dr Style 1.4 TDCI (Black Panther colour). My company got me a finance deal of £190 per month over a 48 month term with nil deposit. This compares with the quote on Ford's uk website were Ford Finance offered the same car for £238 per month over 48 months with no deposit. Good? Also anyone own this model? What do you think of it? From reviews I have read diesel is apparently far superior to petrol equivalent. Thanks
Jehovah’s Witnesses: If you were going to buy a new car, would you avoid exposing yourself to bad reviews? Of course, buying a car is a trifling matter compared to choosing a religion – which I’m sure you agree can have eternal consequences. And yes, you would consider negative views along with the positive views (to get the “big picture”). So why don’t you operate under the same logic when it comes to your faith? There is an excellent book called “Crisis of Conscience – The Struggle between Loyalty to God and one’s Religion” by Raymond Franz, a former member of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. However, the book contains information that is critical of the Watchtower Society and all Jehovah’s Witnesses are expressly forbidden from reading it. I can think of no other religion that so strictly controls (censors) information from its members. I’m trying not to be a conspiracy theorist here, but it’s hard not to suspect something weird is going on. What exactly would be the problem with actually reading this book? [Please don’t give me that “canned answer” that it would “pollute your pure worship of Jehovah.”] Can you understand why non-JWs would consider the tower’s information control tactics as cult-like? How can you be certain you are “in the truth” if you refuse to read one of the most powerful rebuttals of your religion? Moses: I’m trying to be careful with JW “sock accounts.” There are certain members of your religion that make it a point of censoring out questions they find objectionable. I currently have most of those people blocked. However, they frequently create NEW accounts in order to access my questions. You guys even search through questions I’ve had that are more than one month old and resolved. So I have to be careful about you. I'm guessing you're one of those.
need some advice on buying a new car! What to get? Hey guys, please let me thank you in advance for your help on this. I currently have a 2002 wranger, and it was fun a year ago, i am start to grow tired of it. I want a newer, sleaker car. i miss AC, and all the stuff in a sedan. I am trying to find something that looks cool, is some what luxury, and has some power to it. all in all when i give someone a ride, or pull up nex tto people they will take a look at it an say wow, nice car. I have been looking at the Cadillac cts-v, i like the looks and the V8 will give me the power to get up and go. but i was reading reviews, of people saying there are tons of blind spots, and the lack of controls for the seats make it hard to get used to. im only looking to drop around 30k give or take, so please if you have one that you like or you think i would like, let me know! Thanks!
I am wanting to get a new car (used), does anyone have any reccomendations? I was wanting a Chevy Malibu or Impala but I was on KBB last night reading reviews from consumers and they were horrible. I want a fairly cheap car that has four doors and will run well with good mpg. I want a 2003 or newer just so its not so old, can anyone help me and suggest a few "GOOD" cars to look at? Thank U!
What is a good website with reviews of used cars? Or reviews of when they were new? I am looking for at website that describes typical problems with a certain year and make going back the last 25 years. So that I can look up the different cars that I am thinking about buying. For example what are the typical problems with a hyundai accent from 1995, og with a toyota carina 1987, that people are experiencing. Thanks
How to negotiate a new car price when it's already low? I have compared the "no haggle" price of the car I want to various sources: reviews, MSRP, edmunds.com, nearby dealers, etc. and it's about $2k lower than anything else I've seen. I don't want to go pay the price on the tag, but I don't know how to negotiate when it's already the lowest price around.
What is a good car magazine? What is a car magazine. I just want a magazine that just talks about everything in general, nothing specific like muscle, or import. Just want to get the most updated new on cars, reviews, and parts.
a CVT or automatic transmission on a new car? I'm looking to get a new Nissan Versa but i'm debating between getting a CVT or an automatic transmission. Looking at the reviews they get about the same gas milage (more for the CVT in the city, but still close) I drive mainly highway and i'm worried more about the long run (5 years down the road) i hear the CVT is more expensive up front and down the road with repairs... is this true? And which should i go with?
What is a good scalextric car? What scalextric car is good? I am new to scalextrics and i am looking to buy a decent new car, it doesnt have to be amazing i just want to know what is a good car to look out and isnt bad on the track. When they review new cars, how can they tell how long they will last and how reliable they are? I have a 1996 Toyota Camry, which I LOVE. I live in Chicago where we have some tough weather and that car is 100% dependable. I know people with cars only a couple years old who have more problems than I ever have. I'm not having mechanical issues, but other stuff is wearing out, like a door handle broke, the antenna won't go down, etc. My husband finally convinced me to THINK about a new car. He wants to look at various car guides and Consumer Reports to see reviews of the latest models, but I'm wondering how these magazines can possibly rate the reliability of a car that has only been on the market for a year. I guess I am a die-hard Toyota fan (had others before) and I want a car that is going to last a loooong time. I don't want to buy a car every couple of years. So my question is how can these car guides determine a car model's reliability when it's only a year old? Thanks!
Chevrolet Cobalt and Chevrolet Aveo Reviews? I am thinking of buying a new car and I was looking at the Chevrolet Cobalt or the Chevrolet Aveo. I wanted to know what other people think or if they have had any experience with the car. Any reviews will help. Preferably people who have owned one before. I am looking for a 4 cylinder car, good gas mileage, not too expensive as I am a college student with a new job, and reliable. Is this a good choice?
Are Hyundai Accents good for a first car? I am getting my new car soon and I am considering to purchase a Hyundai accent. I've done the research and have found mixed reviews about the car. I need help adjusting to the new car? My parents helped me get a car. My dad suggested Ford Focus. He said it would be a nice car for me. We found one, my dad is a mechanical engineer so he checked the car and said it's in good condition. I got it, it's a 2007 Ford Focus XZ5 SES(it's a hatchback). My dad likes the car because he designed the front and back bumper. Well I have been having little bit of trouble driving this car because for the last two years, I've driven a 75 horsepower car. My Ford Focus is 130 horsepower. In the car that I'm used to driving(2000 Chevrolet Metro Lsi), I had to press the gas harder and I could really feel the power. In mine I have to press it very lightly and i can't feel anything. I don't like it. I prefer feeling the power, because it was easier to adjust speed that way. Also the performance in my new car doesn't seem that much better than the Chevrolet Metro Lsi. It's not a smooth ride, although it has more power. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I am having troubles adjusting my speed in my Ford, and I find it to be a boring car(even though the reviews say it's fun to drive).
Where are the Japanese car reviews in this segment? After reading these reviews, it seems that all of these domestic cars were given a good rap. I mean talk about being biased. How about the test drive numbers? Safety and impact ratings? Will dashboard panels and exterior panels typically fall off after two years with these cars? Will a majority of these domestic cars end up in mechanic shops periodically around the nation like always. Shops such as Meineke between 8,000 - 15,000 miles at the end of this year? Things like that. The designs and performance are one thing, but how about reliability. I most definately will not receive a response back about this. However if so, I would definately want a side by side comparison with numbers and an unbiased review to be included with the response. Thanks so much.
Best place to find reliable car reviews? I'm not buying soon, but I want to be informed when I do buy. So where are some of the best reliable sources for car research? There seems to be a lot of crap on the internet so I find it hard to rely on, but I know there must be some good places out there.
Is there a website for car reviews? I'm trying to pick which car to get next and I'm wondering if there is such thing as a website I can go to where experts AND actual car owners can rate and review cars?

Free used car reviews? I have got about $8000 to spend on an used car. I do not want to make payments (fear of commitment!), so I want to pay cash. I need to find a free site that reviews used cars in a laymen sort of way. Any suggestions for a site, or REAL dependable cars? I really want the site so I can review various makes, models, and years! Preferably 2dr Trucks (w/cab-seating 4 in total), or 2dr coupes. Foreign (preferable), American (acceptable)
Finding Used Car Reviews/Ratings? I'm sick of finding a car that I like and has garnered some awards, but gets bashed by Consumer Reports. Where else can I find good reviews?
