Is it legal to advertise anything (banners, cars, trailers, items for sale) on property im renting? I moved to a house which happens to be a hot spot for cars driving by. All day everyday cars drive by cause its right off a busy street. So can I just advertise to the community that im offering cheap advertising on my rented property of anything??

Does anyone have a car transporting trailer for sale? I prefer a twin-axled unit, either ramp loading or the tilting version. Ideally with a working winch, good tyres and working electrics. I don't really want to start restoring the trailer so a working unit is preferred. Thank you!

I want to enter into a business with $40k, what is the best business to get into for that price? I am a type of handyman that can do just about anything that I put my mind to. I am brainstorming on many ideas as to where to invest my money. I want to invest about $40k into a business that my wife and I can work full-time together and make a good living. The business can be existing or I will build it. I was thinking about car sales, trailer sales, even thought of a internet cafe but that idea crashed after I looked at their success rate. Finding the right location for the right shop is also a biggie. Anyone with advice in this area would be greatly appreciated. Also, I can build the interior myself which will save in labor when starting a new store. I can also do the signage myself. I wanted to add that I am VERY entrepreneurial... what do you think of a rental shop? I live in a high tourist area and a rental shop might be good... scooter rentals, bikes, electric cars... the electric cars would have to come later because of the cost but I'm sure I could put a shop together with about 20 scooters and 20 bikes to start.

Legal help. Paid guy from Navy a deposit for car now he wont Answer my calls.? Hi guys, I really need help on what I can do about my situation. This is basically what happened. I live in New Mexico and have been looing for an older Chevelle for some time so I sold my mustang and started browising craigslist ads. There was a guy that posted his car for sale in Fresno CA (he lives on a navy base in lemoore). It was a 1970 Chevelle and it looked in good shape. He said he was leaving in a week back to MO and he needed the money to fund his trip back. We ended up agreeing that I was going to pay 3250 (half) so he could get the title and other things. I was suppose to meet hm on his way to MO. He said he was going through Albuquerque in New Mexico to get back the MO ....... So I would meet him there and we would meet up and I would pay the rest and he would sign the title over to me. A couple days before we were suppose to meet, we stopped answering my calls and text messages. It would ring but we wouldnt answer. Ive left him multiple emails, tex messages and voice mails since then but nothing. When I did the 3250 deposit, I transfered the mone into his bank account. He gave me his bank of america account number so I have records of all the money transfers I did. I got alot of his info. I got his name, phone number (which is still working but he doesnt answer when I call), Navy command, his recently ex wifes name (she said she doesnt know whats gong on but it doesnt seem like hiim to o something like this), I also have the car make and model along with the VIN number he gave me. I had posted in craigslist after I didnt hear from him about the car asking about information about the guy. I got alot of responses. Many people contacted me about seeing the car on the base and that the guy was leaving and they saw him putting the car onto a trailer. This was the 2 days before we were suppose to meet that they saw him. They gave me what ever info they could about him. I ended up calling the police station there on base and gave them the information I had and they looked him up and the found the car registered under his name and everythign added up. They ended going to his place but saw that he had'nt been there for a couple of days. From there they told me to contact Navy Legal and that is just what I did...and am waiting to hear back from them. Is there anything at all else that I can do? Or can someone help me out with what my options are? I feel soooo bad becasue I paid 3250 dollars. I dont have a car to use right now and have to walk to work. I was hoping this would be a good deal but it turns out it wasnt. If anyone can help me out I would really really appreciate it.

craigslist possible scam??? HELP? I had a new tire laying around, so I decided to put it on craigslist. I checked my yahoo email afterwards, and I had 4 emails from random craigslist people to some random news article about making money. Then I had an email saying if I wanted a trade and that they's pay the remainder (thought this was kind of weird), so I checked out what they wanted to trade and it was a car they were selling for 2000$. So.... then i went to my craigslist account, and under my posts, my tire i was selling wasn't there anymore, and there was a car trailer for sale for 3000$. UK horse trailer laws ? Here's some fun - I know laws for towing trailers have been changed in some way fairly recently but have no clue how that effects me. I have never needed to tow a trailer but I have one that my horses won't even fit into. In Colorado, is it legal to have a car parked in your driveway that isn't registered and doesn't have insuranc? I'm out of the country at the moment, but there's a car for sale that I want to buy, my very first car. Problem is, I live in a VERY rural area where a 1996 piece-o-sh* Ford Contour, for example, sells for $5k, and it's one of just 8 cars for sale that I know of. Anyway, so I'm out of the country, but I contacted the seller (who lives 2 hours from where my house is) and he said that for $50, he's willing to drive the car to my friend's house who will get the title, bill of sale, etc, and has agreed to keep the car parked at his house for me until I come back in mid-May. Before anything, however, my friend and I would write up a contract stating that I loaned him the money to buy the car, that he is not to drive the car while it is in his possession, and that, on an agreed-upon date between May 10th and June 1st, 2011, he is to sell the car to me for $1, car being in the exact same condition as when he bought it. I'd write it up and sign it, fax it to him, and he'd fax me a signed copy back. Then, when I got back to Colorado, I'd get the car registered and insured, and go on with life. But is it legal for him to have the car in his driveway with nothing but a clean title? For the record, he'll have it parked IN his driveway and he lives in a trailer park--the entire thing is private property (streets included), unless there's something I don't know. Does this sound alright? For the record, it's Alamosa county. Just called the DMV who said that as long as it's on private property, it's no problem. Thanks, everyone. :)

Why haven't we seen more about ICE trailers to EVs. Some time ago I saw an article about an internal combusion engine (ICE) powered generator on a trailor that was towed behind an EV (electric vehicle.) This seemed to be an intriguing solution to the problems of range to an EV and the problem of having to put a large ICE in a vehicle only to cover acceleration. I could easily see a transport solution of EV cars for sale and ICE gen trailors for rent for those out of town trips. Are you talking about an electric vehicle? Why then would the vehicle not incorporate regen braking within the vehicle which would always be useful. I bought a car on ebay thats located in another state. Which states laws apply to this purchase? I bought a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Base Coupe on ebay for $1,200. The vehicle has 136,000 miles, but has always been garaged and looks much newer. The seller has let the car sit virtually unused for nearly 2 years rarely starting it. Of course the battery has went dead and he claims that it will now only start with a jump. The same fuel, oil and other fluids still remain in the vehicle from about 2 years ago. I'm driving about 700 miles round-trip in person to pick the car up with a car trailer. I'd like to at least drive the car up the block to see how the transmission shifts and the engine sounds before paying the remaining balance. Will I potentially ruin the car by doing this? The tires are slightly dry rotted as well. Also I was wondering which states laws will apply to the sale? The state of the seller in Ohio, or the state in which I live Virginia?

Car dealership won't provide any proof of consignment sale price. How can I find out what it is? We recently sold our travel trailer through a local car dealership that does consignment. They state in the contract that their fee is 10% of whatever the retail sales price is. However, when we went to do the paperwork, they would not provide us ANY documentation that proves what they sold the vehicle for...stating it is a privacy concern for the buyer. On the phone on sales person mentioned that the buyer had put down a $2,000 personal deposit and then when we went to sign the paperwork, they showed us a quick $10,000 cashier's check. In total that would be $12,000, yet the dealership states that it sold for $10,827 (which seems like an odd price). When I questioned them on providing proof, they stated they could email me a "copy" of the sales contract once they remove all references to the buyer. As we all know, they can easily make a fake document to jive with their story. Since I want the trailer sold, is there any way outside of the dealership to obtain the price paid for the vehicle so I could go back after them civilly? I assume that the DMV will have the sales price noted on the transfer between the dealership and the buyer, but not sure how I can obtain that. Thoughts? Suggestions? Oh and one other thing I forgot to mention, is the title to the trailer is in my name. They allowed my husband who is not on title to sign the "consignment contract", so I never authorized them to withhold any fees. The transfer hasn't taken place, as I haven't received my check, nor has the trailer been given to the buyer. If the dealer sells the vehicle for a "HIGHER" price without disclosing it, they would keep everything over what they are paying me. My concern is not what I am netting, but what THEY are netting.

I'm trying to make a little sense out of this situation....? We had an Airstream for sale, in the paper. We sell cars and trailers all the time. Lots of times the people who act interested disappear and never come back. Some people called about it, asked if we'd take less for it. The answer was, if you get here with the money before it is sold, it's yours. On the day they were supposed to come buy it, they were four hours late. There were two other buyers, and one of them offered $500.00 more for it. So we thought we'd be courteous and call the first people, since they live out of town, and tell them that if they really want it, they need to pay the asking price, 'because we have a buyer, but y'all called first, so I wanted to offer it to you'. They said OK, they'll pay what we're asking. They came, paid the money, got the trailer, and we have a signed Bill of Sale. Then the woman came back and said she was suing us. Well, they were INFORMED and they didn't have to buy it, right? So she actually DID sue us and WE LOST! Isn't it your right to sell or not to sell. We could have asked $1,000,000.00 for it because it's ours to sell for whatever we want, right??? They paid first and threatened later! There was no reasoning behind the judge's decision. When my husband started to shake his head in denial of points they lied about, the (female) judge started to scream and threatened him with contempt, and never let him defend himself. I feel that a judge who flies off the handle, is in no mental state to be a mediator of any kind. It was shockingly unprofessional and my husband really did nothing disrespectful. Plus, we had the Bill of Sale. TEXAS justice! I mean...We are so befuddled that this question had to go on HERE! The beyotch judge wouldn't explain it or give us a chance and she ordered trhe Bailiff to escort us out. We never spoke out of turn or were nasty in any way and THEY were. No we aren't planning to appeal it. Lawsuits aren't our bag. It's only about $500.00. It's more the point of the thing, and we'd like to know...OH, and the judge DID say that we should have sold it to the person with the cash, and not called the first people, because that showed that we "felt like we had a contract" enough to call them.And that screwed us right there. Would you buy a mattress at a garage sale? We are moving cross country and can only take what will fit in a trailer behind our car. I have two twin mattresses that (I think) are in fine condition. I have heard that a trailer is not considered real estate if you buy and sell one but that it is more like a car as there is no deed, property tax, etc. And in this case the land is leased that the trailer is on (it is in a park). What are the best ways to advertise our house for sale, without using a realtor? We have a home for sale outside of Potsdam, New York. Its a great spot, near the Adirondacks, with lots of adventure there. Potsdam has 4 colleges nearby, with great communities and eco friendly Americans. The home is an older trailer with a two car garage and paved driveway, both front and back decks and a well kept lawn with many flowers and ornamental trees. It's private, with a fenced in back yard and space for garden, playground equipment or pool. The home is surrounded by fields and farms, yet only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown. It does need a new roof. We are only asking $35,000. I included so many details about the home in my question because I think some of these points may help you suggest how to find the right person. Getting a new title for a trailer in Nevada? I bought an 18' car hauler in Florida last month. Florida does not have titles for trailers that weight less than 2,000 lbs. Now I get to Nevada and they require a title. The DMV is saying I can get a tag but cannot give me a title. Anybody know what I need to do. All that being said, in my 15+ years in the car business, I required the car to be in an adults name too if the kid was under 19. Question about car tires. ST and LT? I have a 1997 15 passenger Ford Van. I need to buy some used tires but can't find the exact ones for sale, used. I am aware that it is recommended but not required to buy always the same exact tires and brand but I can't do that at this time. I came across some used tires on ebay but they are "ST" which "I think" means "Special Trailer" or that it can only be used on trailers, not motor vehicles. Can ST tires be used when the vehicle's tires specifications are as follows: ALL SEASON TRAIL CAT LT Tread 2 Ply Steel + 2 Ply Polyester Sidewall 2 Ply Polyester LT225/75/R16 And the tires I want to buy on ebay are: GOODYEAR WRANGLER ST 225/75/16 TIRE (F2143) 4/32 (you can search this title on ebay if you wish) I'm a little confused. how to get my new motorcycle home? I just bought a used motorcycle from a private seller and need to get it home. I have a valid motorcycle permit, bill of sale, and the old owner's registration. I do not, however, have plates for it. I also have no access to a pickup or trailer. I am thinking of putting on the plates from my car (which is registered to me) on it in order to drive it home and carrying the other stuff to show to a cop if pulled over. I realize that this is not ideal, but it's the best that I can come up with. Opinions?

Do I have a right for a lawsuit? This happened last August. My husband and I purchased a pickup truck from National Auto Sales in Marietta Georgia. It's an in house financing dealership. Within 2 days of buying it we were going on a trip to Minnesota to pull a cargo trailer for a friend. We told this to the salesman who told us it was no problem. We made a $400 down payment. While in Minnesota, we were late paying by about 2 to 4 days. We recieved a very rude phone call from a lady at the dealership. I talked to her supervisor and told him we had pulled a trailer to Minnesota and my husband had to fly to Seattle Washington on urgent business. We were waiting on payment from a customer in Seattle. The supervisor (I believe his name was Ira) said ok. Told him we would pay the next afternoon. We didn't take into account that Seattle was 3 hours behind Georgia. Next day Ira called us and was very rude. Told us we were not supposed to use the truck for work purposes and would not accept payment. We told him that it wasn't for work. He told us to bring the truck back to the dealership immediately to re-do the contract. I told him we were not re-doing the contract and by law did not have to. He then told us we had to give the truck back to the dealership. He told us that if we didn't have it back within 2 days that he was getting a warrant for our arrest. He still refused payment. I told him that we were in Minnesota and I was pregnant. It would take more than 2 days to drive back to Georgia. But we did start back to Georgia. During those few days he called my brother-in-law, mother, and mother-in-law telling them about having us arrested and that our son would be taken away from us. He called them multiple times. When I got to Georgia I called and told them that due to my health, I could not drive the 100 miles from my home to turn in the truck. I told him to call me when they are in my area and I would meet them with the truck. For several days they did not call. Then they start emailing and calling saying I had a warrant for my arrest. Finally I got the owner of the dealership to email me. He agreed to send Ira to my home and that he would call before he left so that I could clean my truck out. Never saw or heard back from them for 2 to 3 days. One morning I happened to be awake early. They pulled up into my driveway and was looking at my truck which was parked on my carport. They would not show me any proof of any warrants. I had to rush and remove my belongings from the truck. That day I started experiencing signs of having a miscarriage. I had my 2 year old son and also no way of getting to the doctor or hospital. I was very stressed out for them taking my truck and only way to get somewhere. A few days later I had to end up calling an ambulance and had a very traumatic miscarriage. To this day I am haunted by that experience of repo and miscarriage. My health has somewhat declined and I have been very depressed and emotional. I found that they had put the entire cost of the purchase of the truck on my credit report. Last time I looked they had the same truck for sale on their car lot. I never recieved any papers in the mail. They never tried auctioning the truck. This has kept my husband and I from buying a house of our own. We incurred a lot of expenses just getting home from Minnesota. Much more, it has caused emotional stress, declining health, and the loss of a baby. I have now found the laws about credit/debt collections and can see that what they did was very illegal. I have witnesses who recieved phone calls from them and also copies of emails.

Hi I acquired a boat in a car trade, I have no actual use for the boat and am looking to sell it. the only thing is I have no clue how much to ask for. it is an old boat 1950 to 1959 range all fiberglass has a engine trailer gas can and lines and is in pretty good condition. as far as I am aware the boat floats and the engine works just fine the boat needs some body work for aesthetic value, but otherwise it seems to be in good shape. Dealership driving my car across the state? Yesterday, my local dealer ordered a new Ford Edge for me from a dealer in another state. I wanted a particular color and there were no dealers near me that had it in stock. I signed all the paperwork today and got the bill of sale. The salesman told me 3 different times of when the vehicle would be delivered. I just found out that the dealership is having someone drive my new vehicle here. That is over 300 miles away. The salesman said that it was typical and that all dealers do that. I had no idea. I assumed it would be carried on a trailer or something. This makes me mad that my brand new vehicle will have all that mileage already. Is this right? Do the dealer do that? Is there anyway I can refuse the vehicle after it gets here even after I signed paperwork? What if there is highway damage to it? Please help! Thank you for your help.

My grandpa, who is a preacher, grandma, and their six kids lived in Hillsville, Virginia. In 1975, grandpa had a call to move west. After telling the family about this call, Grandma looked at him and said, “Do you expect me to believe that?” Grandpa told her to go ahead and start packing anyway. He decided to auction off their land and everything they owned. With some of the money, he bought a 1972 one-ton ford pick-up with an aluminum bed. He fixed the bed of the truck like a living room and that’s where all six kids rode. They packed everything in their station wagon and pulled it with the truck he had just bought. With no air condition, the ride out was very uncomfortable. Over 2,000 miles later they finally arrived at a camp ground in Phoenix, Arizona. They stayed there in a tent while grandpa searched for land and a place to live. After looking around for a while, he soon realized that things weren’t so cheap out west. For a roach infested shack it ranged from $400-$500 a month. Grandma, finally fed up with everything, wanted to move back to Virginia before they all ended up dead. They didn’t have enough money to make it back to Virginia so they stopped in Tucson, Arizona. After staying there a while he decided to try and find some way back to Virginia. He barley made it two miles out of Tucson when a voice spoke to him and as plan as day told him to pull the truck off onto the median and unhook the station wagon. Then they were to get the kids and drive back up the road till they found a man on the right hand side of the road and he would tell them what to do next. After driving a short time he noticed a post office with a driveway made of smooth, polished stone. It was so pretty he thought he wasn’t suppose to drive on it. In the yard there was a 60 foot oak tree which was very rare to be in a desert. Standing in the parking lot was a man with his foot propped up on his truck. Grandpa told him he was looking for a good place to live. He said “Go down the road about 35 miles and you’ll see a sign that says Fort Wachuka in Seira Vista Arizona.” When they found the town, they saw a sign for a trailer sale. They pulled in and a women came running out. Grandma got out of the car and smiled and said this feels just like home! She praised God and said it feels like I’ve lived here my whole life. The women outside came and told grandpa to come in the office and make his self at home. She picked up the phone and begin dialing a number and started talking to a man telling him she had a family down here needing a place to live. The man told her he had a double wide trailer. Grandpa told the women he didn’t have enough money for a trailer. She insisted that they went and looked at the trailer. After looking at the trailer the man told grandpa that he could have it for $150 a month and it would be ready in 30 days. Grandpa told the man there’s no way that a trailer could be that cheap and the man said well you can sure have it for that. They stayed in a tent for 30 days while waiting for the trailer to be ready. Grandma was finally happy and wanted to go back and thank the man at the post office. She also wanted to see the huge oak tree again so she could take a picture. They got back to where the post office should have been and there was only a curb and some sage brush. Grandpa told the man he knew there was a post office him and his wife were just there the other day. The man told him that he was over heated and the best thing he could do is find some where to cool off. They drove back there every month for a year and never found it. They always felt the Spirit of God there every time they went. All of this was part of a prophecy back in Virginia. A women told him “You’ll move far away and when you get there you will build a church.” He was told he would never find a job out west because there wasn’t much work back in 1975. He drove to a fort where they were building 100 houses. They only had six of them under roof. Grandpa asked who was going to do the sheetrock in the houses. The man told him they were looking for someone to do it. He took the job. With the money he made from the houses he bought a double wide trailer with 12 acres of land. He built a church and most of the materials were donated to him. He found two young solders to help him build it. Grandpa and Grandpa continued to pray that they would find the man from the post office. He was heading to work one day and looked on a bill board and noticed it was the same man propped up on the same truck with the same clothes as the day he saw him. Van owners, have you been refused access to recycling tips? Councils across Hampshire are stopping van owners and cars with large trailers from dumping household rubbish in their amenity tips. As a volunteer, working within 3 different scout groups, my job was to organise jumble sales and fetes to fund the groups. Councils are obviously not aware that jumble sales, etc., accumulate a load of unwanted goods which have to be disposed of; charity shops will only accept a certain amount from us (mainly clothing) but the rest goes into the scout van & trailer to be taken to the amenity tip. Now we can't! We had to take the last lot to the landfill site 9 miles away and then pay for the privilege of dumping it - kissing goodbye to all the proceeds we made from the jumble sale. Many volunteers helped to get that jumble sale organised, collecting door to door, and actual event. Items that could well have been put in the householders own rubbish bins and collected for free. - No more jumble sales, thanks to HCC. Community charge? Why are we paying it?

i had a dream about a horse i fell in love with recently what do you think it means? so i rode this horse last saturday, and i really loved him (but he's very hard to ride) and my riding instructor said he must really love me because she's never seen him do so well with anybody else on him. but his owner is trying to sell him because she's moving to FL. (she drives a bright yellow little car) but i had this dream the other night that this horse was at my house (he is currently at my farm, but i do bored my own horses at my house in my barn) and 2 men (i think men) came to my house in the horses owners car with a trailer hitched onto it(which would be impossible) but the last thing i remember was them driving off and i was crying my eyes out and then my dad came outside to see what had happened. and then i woke up i reckon i would have jumped on my horse and gone after them but i was woken up. what does this mean? is my heart trying to tell me something about this horse? he is up for sale but he's not the best horse, he's just hard to handle, and my instructor thinks he wouldn't be a good 2ft horse......but you probablly dont care but he's drop dead gorgeous, he's black, 16.2 (not sure on the breed) has a BEAUTIFUL neck that curves up and he's amazing on the flats (walk trot canter) thnx

Help Importing a Vintage Car from Canada to the US? I've located a rare vintage (1930) automobile I've been looking for for a number of years.... But, I'm in the US and the car is in Ontario, Canada. I can drive there with a trailer and get the car but I'm sure there are legal issues I need to deal with, such as customs, sales tax, etc. etc. Can someone experienced please provide some pointers on how to import a car into the US from Canada?

Even as a Liberal I do agree with some of the ideas of the Tea Party. Can you blame me for this after what I? saw in New Orleans a few weeks ago? I work hard like most people and pay taxes. I don't like the idea of my money being taken and given away to those too lazy to help themselves. A few weeks ago I drove over to New Orleans to attend an Tea Party Rally and learn more about them. I lost my job because of the recession and am drawing unemployment so I had some time on my hands. I decided to drive through the Lower Ninth Ward to see what was going on there after the devestation of Hurricane Katrina and how our money was being used and found the following. I saw an old lady with a barbeque grill made from a 50 gallon drum cut in half. It was set up in front of her FEMA trailer. She was selling barbeque ribs and gumbo. I knew that this was illegal since it was in a residential neighborhood and figured that she wasn't paying tax on her income and that I was paying for her FEMA trailer. I stopped the car and got out for a closer look. Not only was she selling food, she was also selling Colt 45 Malt Liquor. To get some evidence on her I bought a rack of ribs and washed them down with a cold Colt 45. There were some guys playing blues music in the yard and they had a tip jar, I knew that they were not reporting this income and were probably collecting a welfare check so I decided to try and get some hard evidence on them. I dropped a dollar in the jar and said, "you are going to pay tax on this dollar, right?". They laughted and said that they would but the government would deduct it from their welfare check if they found out. So to try and fit into the group I went to the car and got my old Martin D35 guitar out and started playing along with them. While one of them was showing me some Howling Wolf guitar licks one of them wearing an Obama shirt offered me a marijuana cigarette. I thought I better take it so they would trust me. I didn't want to inhale but he was watching me so I did. I took another puff or two just to build his confidence. He told me that if I liked it he had some for sale. He told me that I had the right to remain silent and he handcuffed me and put me in the back of the cop car. Then the real truth came out. This guy was a RACIST. He told me that since I was too stupid to realize that these people were just trying to survive and that I didn't have enough sense to boil water that he was going to let me go on one condition. How can I get an appraisal on my canal boat (mid 1960's) that was made in England. The mfg is out of business It is a Creighton "Gull". It looks like a camper however it is actually a mini houseboat that is built on a trailer, ie: the trailer stays with it all the time. It is 17' overall but the cabin portion is about 15'. It sleeps 4, has a closet for a port-a-potty, a gas stove burner, a sink. a slide open sunroof, a dining table which converts to a bed, a bunk bed which converts to a couch... It was licensed in Indiana when I bought it as a "House-car". The title had been lost so I retitled it. I have state issued boat #'s for the front, and a trailer license plate for the back. I've had it in the water and it is certainly sea-worthy. I have the original brochure for it too! There was a similar craft made called a "Car-a-Boat", (also in England). It is made of fiberglas on the bottom half, and tin covered wood on the upper half. It appears to be one of the few left in existence, and most defineatly the only one in the states. I want to find it's value for insurance and possible sale of it.

GTA IV not as good as rated!? I have been playing GTA 4 very often since it was released. With this latest sale I got the GTA Classic pack to complete the GTA series. After the purchase I started to play GTA San Andreas again. After playing some times with SA again, my old memories came back about the game. That's why I decided to make this topic. In my opinion GTA 4 has amazing graphics and physics, the story is nice also. But nothing more. After completing the story there is no reason for me to "just" play the game without doing any missions. GTA San Andreas has cartoon type graphics and physics but it has got more to offer than GTA 4. Want to leave town for a little jeeping/motocrossing on the nearby mountains? Fly to another city? Parachute from a plane? Have your own Airport with your planes and Military Jet? Mod your cars? Play Blackjack in casinos? Use an Apache helicopter to kill badguys? Break into houses at nights? Attend a car school? Take the risk to break into the military base to steal a tank? Go quadding in the forest? Steal a boat and use it on the river to get to another city? Have your own Car Showroom? Attend delivery missions using trucks with attached trailers? Steal tractors from surprised farmers (owns anything:P)? You can do all these and much much more in SA. And what can you do in GTA 4 besides the missions? Go and drunk yourself? It wont be funny after you have done it for the 30. time. Go to the strip club to see the same lame dancers every time? Maybe play pool, go out with your girl, go eat something or attend a car race? GTA: SA knows those also... Not to mention those irritating phonecalls from your "friends" to do the same stuff over and over again. I am not saying GTA SA is a perfect game, or it is better than GTA 4. GTA 4 is a great game, when you first load it, you will be amazed by it, thats for sure. But to be honest after playing loads of hours with it, I have to say it is nothing more than a GTA 3 with improved graphics and physics. And GTA 3 is a step backwards from San Andreas. Now if GTA 4 would have been a GTA: San Andreas with the improved graphics and physics...well...should I say more? I would really like to hear your opinion about this.

Can you give me legal advice regarding the sale of a car? I recently auctioned a classic car on eBay. I had several people contact me to make offers and to ask me to stop the auction and sell to them directly, including the guy who ended up winning the auction. The whole concept of bidding on/buying a car sight unseen based on a description and photos boggles my mind, but that's how it went. The winner never came to look at the car, sent his deposit and then brought a trailer to pick it up two weeks later. He only briefly looked over the car, checked the VIN number and compared it to the radiator cover, and then brought the trailer around to load it up. I asked him if everything looked OK and he said yes as he loaded it up. He paid me, we transferred the title, and he took the car. Now he's complaining that the car wasn't as it was described, is saying I cheated him, and is threatening to sue me if I don't give him some of his money back. I told him if he's unhappy to bring the car back in the condition I sold it to him, but no response. Help

How do i get a vehicle title with only a bill of sale? I bought a jeep in the spring and was trailering it to go wheeling, but now i sold my car and my truck is a gas hog so i was looking to get my jeep on the road. when i bought it, it was said to be a salvaged vehicle and the title was lost at the salvage yard, so i got a bill of sale. if anyone knows how to possibly get a title form a bill of sale or if it is even possible. i dont know if its any different other places but im in pennsylvania.

I have earned the the possision of regional sales manager. I have studied marketing and have ample experience in all types of sales. The situation is this. JEM Trasilers desighns and builds small utility trailers that you would tow behind your car, they also build massive semi trailers all the way to super link trailers. I need to sue an old friend I guess, any advice? I sold a car to a friend a little over a year ago now and we are still in a fight about it. He took possession of the car in September of 2007 and found every reason why he couldn't sign a bill of sale. We agreed on $2,500 and he paid me $250 the first night, but nothing since. He tried lying to me and telling me that he had to replace a part on the car that I had just replaced. I called the shop and they said he had dropped it off to have performance parts put on it. I finally took it back in January of 08 and caught a ton of crap. His mom called and threatened me, he called the cops saying I stole the car (I still had the title). So it sat and rotted in my yard until April when I wanted to sell it again. I had very little interest since he had torn the interior out, and took many of the useful parts off. I offered to let him have it back if he resumed payments, and that night he came and took it out of the drive. Again no payments and I took it back again. The problem now is that I ended up selling the car for $500 to get rid of it, the tax value is $3,700 and the KBB value is about $4,100. I'm asking him to pay me for $3,000 in damages and losses to the car and $500 for all the driving around and trailering I had to do to recover the car. His mom agrees that he owes the debt but wants pictures of the damage before she'll consider paying me. I've offered to let them pay me $3,000 or I'll sue for the KBB value plus my expenses and court fees. Should I send her the pictures or is she up to something? This woman calimed that they had a signed bill of sale showing that the car was paid in full, and is a crook. The second time around he came and got the car without my permission, he had made copies of the keys while he had it in his posession. He is an adult, 22. His dad owns a roofing business and he claimed to be part owner and promised that the company would pay the total if he missed even one payment, turns out he is not an owner.

Well, I found this 5 acre property that has a old, but still lived in trailer on it. also included is a 2 car garage (which we will need, cuz yeah, we have alot of "toys". So anyways, this property is only priced right now at $49,000, which is almost what alot of the 5 acre parcels are already priced at. We could prolly get it for even less, since houses are not selling well around here. ok, so to wrap this up, we would have our well and septic already, some land and a garage and a modular home company has a model house on clearance that we LOVE. So to me this seems like a great investment and we would have value in something right away. any thoughts?

Shooting an Intruder? My neighborhood used to be nice, but over the last 10-15 years it's really gone downhill. There are so many vacant houses in my neighborhood, and my house is one of two on my block that isn't up for sale. Crime has skyrocketed and on 4 different days last week there were at least 4 cop cars in the neighborhood, lights flashing and taking care of something. Car burglaries have risen dramatically and so have home burglaries. My aunt and uncle's house was broken into on Monday and about $15,000 in electronics and jewelry was stolen, their son (my cousin)'s car was broken into, two of my OTHER cousin's cars were broken into, and my travel trailer was broken into last week and the propane tank was stolen (we've got it in storage at the trailer dealership where we bought it). My neighbor scared a burglar off on Friday night with his motion light. I'm figuring it's only a matter of time before MY house is broken into... My dad works nights at GM (he's a mechanic) and doesn't get home until 6 AM (he normally leaves at 6 PM), so at night it's only my mom (53) and myself (17) at home. We have a dog that barks if anything comes near the house, but lately hasn't been barking at anything, even strangers walking by (normally she would throw a fit). There's a motion light on our garage (detached, behind the house) so if anyone comes by the back door it lights up. I am starting to fear for my mom's safety because she is not in the best of health and if she needed to get out of the house quickly or fight someone she wouldn't be able to. I have absolutely no problem shooting an intruder in my home. I feel that if anybody is in my house that isn't supposed to be, that they are an immediate threat to the safety of my family and I have no problem taking out that threat. I know how to handle a gun properly and have damn good aim (I've won 3 local tournaments) and am not afraid to shoot an intruder. We own several guns (mostly for hunting, but also one that used to belong to my great grandmother--she worked for Joe Bonanno in Phoenix and after he threatened her she kept it on her for protection), all of which are locked in a secure gunsafe in the basement (and the ammunition is locked in a separate safe). If I wake up to hear my dog barking or by the motion light turning on, I look out the window carefully each time (barely peek out the curtains so I can see anything out there but if there's something they can't see me), and I can make it from my room into the room where the gunsafes are in about 10 seconds, get the shotgun out (it's a 12 gauge), and have it loaded and ready to go in under a minute. Then if the need arises I have no problem shooting the intruder either to kill or disable. The problem is, I don't know what the laws of this in Michigan are. I live in central Michigan and I don't know if the law would protect me in the circumstance that I shoot an intruder and he is wounded/killed. What are the laws pertaining to this? Oh, and moving is not an option. My parents have worked at their same jobs for 30 years and we paid off our house in 2003. We're not going to move. I'm going 500 miles away to college next year though...

Need help with local product exposure...? I am a trailer salesman, we have increased our sales by a tremendous amout. However it appears not may people know we are here besides word of mouth. Does anybody know effective ways to get more exposure (advertise) locally and even outside my local area. Newspaper didn't do much. Camera Ads (Local Car Trader) has done the most good. But I still get alot of, "I didn't know you were here"

I bought a trailer and had severe problems with the brakes and put a stop payment on the check? The owner is out of state so i wrote him expressing my displeasure on the deal since he had represented the trailer as road worthy and ready to go come to find out one of the two door doesnt funtion ,brakes will not pass state inspection.He has called me threatening to have me arrested .What should i do .I have sent him a bank check for what i feel is a fair settlement he insist on the full amount. I paid 500.00 deposit to the car dealer where he had it on consingment did not get reimbursed sent a bankcheck for 3500.00 .The bill of sale states 5000.00 ,He has a total of 4000.00 of my money for a trailer that I dont even want or say want to put a lot of more money into to be state inspectable

Bought a truck..just found out it has frame damage? Yep...the dreaded car salesman pulled one over on me..I think. My question is..Do I have any recourse in this situation? When I bought the truck, it had a sign on the window stating the truck was being sold "as is". The salesman disclosed to me that there weren't any problems with the truck. I test drove it. It drove and handled fine. (I drove it about 40 miles...the salesman didn't like that). Recently, I purchased a 30 ft camper. The truck was very capable of hauling this camper..but it didn't have enough room for my family. I went looking for a truck with either an extended cab or a 4 door with a back seat. I offered my truck in trade. After giving the "new" salesman the information on the truck and letting his guy drive the truck...he came back to give me some very interesting information. He came back with reports from CARFAX.COM and Experian Auto Check. Both had information that would make trading this truck in very hard. The reports both told of an accident in 2005. Also the truck had been repossessed. But the final piece of information stated that the truck had structural frame damage. The report said that "all" of this information was announced at the auction where the first salesman purchased it. I decided to call the auction to verify the reports I had been given. The guy in charge of the auction stated that all information on "every" vehicle is announced over a loud speaker just prior to the vehicle's sale. Therefore, the dealership I purchased this truck from knew of this structural frame damage. This is where it comes back to my question. With the truck being sold as is..can he still sell the truck without disclosing the truck was flawed structurally? The damage was listed as "Driver Side B Pillar". I haven't checked to see if this damage is bad, good or otherwise. I have used this truck to pull 9 horse slant trailers, my aunt's 30 ft trailer...my pontoon boat. To me, I see no problem structurally with the truck..yet because of the information announced and listed at the auction where it was purchased, I cannot trade the truck. Do I have any recourse in this situation? Unclereeky I found out that that at the auction where it was purchased..it was announced prior to the sale of this truck that it was being sold with Frame Damage. Therefore, the dealer I bought it from knew it was damaged, yet failed to disclose this to me.

Do I have recourse when a lowball appraisal with serious errors/omissions affects refinancing? The appraiser either didn't know the area (he's from out of town) or was angling for a certain value. He used three comparable sales: the #1 was a home adjacent to a seedy trailer park, while my home is in one of the most desirable, stable neighborhoods in the region. The other two homes were significantly smaller with serious condition issues, and neither had a two car attached garage as my home does. (One home was 600 square feet smaller and built 30 years earlier. The real estate agent who sold it wrote a letter saying it wasn't a comparable home. The other home was also much smaller and had only a carport and difficult access to the rundown home in an inferior neighborhood.) There were closer comps within the same area that the appraiser ignored. None of these problems was mentioned or adjusted for in the appraisal. The appraiser did not inspect the properties. I found out about the trailer park by Googling the address. I have sent the credit union a satellite photo showing the trailer park next to the house, and a statement that the agent who sold the home is willing to speak to the appraiser since most interested buyers walked away when they saw the trailer park. I have sent them comparable sales suggested by two experienced local real estate agents representing the two major firms in the area. I sent them a list of all sales in my neighborhood for the past three years - there is absolutely no data from the neighborhood to support the appraisal amount. These comparables are all so inferior to my home and neighborhood, we wouldn't even have looked at them when we were househunting, and believe me, we looked at a range of stuff for years. Do I have a right to demand another appraisal with a local company? It's very suspicious that the loan amount now being offered would require us to give the credit union virtually all of our savings in the credit union to make up for the lower refinance limit. We're not looking for favoritism, just a fair appraisal from a knowledgeable firm. I should probably also have mentioned that we locked in such a low rate, going to another bank is out of the question. Also, the comps we provided from the realtors were from the last 90 days. I should have mentioned that there are no sales and no homes on the market in my neighborhood in the last 90 days, homes rarely go on the market in my neighborhood. Any reasonable person can see the realtors' comps are more comparable to my home, and they are in a totally different price tier from the appraisal (and more in line with sales data from the last three years in my neighborhood, which is why I brought that up). I guess I really want to know if I can demand a second appraisal (versus just asking for one), and if as a last resort I have any causes of action against the appraiser if I lose my financing because of their errors and omissions. One more detail: I don't have an upside-down mortgage. If the real estate agents are right, I have almost 40% equity in my home even in this market. Even if the appraisers had made a "reasonable" low-ball estimate, I would still have more than 30% equity. I need to refinance because I have an interest-only loan and am getting a lower-rate 30-year-fixed for almost the same payments.

From your perspective is this the right thing to do? Please tell me is my father is right or if I am.? My father is a good man. He earns a salary, religiously attends church, and helps out with friends and family. He has a couple hobbies that besides bringing in change is pure decent enjoyment. One particular hobby is purchasing vehicles, fixing them up, and re-selling them. This is where my problem with him resides. He and my mother have been friends with one lady for a long period. My parents have a stable financial life, but she doesn't. She recently bought a car from my parents, and since she could not afford ba loan because of bad credit, they took out a $2100 loan in their name for her. She made a promisorry note, stating that she would make all the monthly payments on time. She has made every payment on time, and she has never missed one. But my argument is not with her, but instead with her son. She's of old age probably 60's and she has one son who has a colorful record. He's in his late 30's and he has gone through living off of her to trying to have her arrested, and then being arrested, for domestic disturbance and for drug possesion. Currently he is on good terms with his mom right now, so she's allowing him to stay with her. She allows him back in because according to her "this guy is her son and she is his mother so she can't turn her back on him". But here is where the problem is. A couple years back this friend sold her house to my parents, who renovated the inside and outside with their own money and thier hands (they did 76%) of the work. The women came to my parents house when they were almost done with the rennovations and asked if her son and his girlfirend could stay in their for a few days. She had bought a trailer and did not have enough space for them both. My instincts told me this was not a good thing, and I argued against it. I did not like what this friend had asked from my parents. If she thought she was doing a motherly thing by seeking a place for her son, it should have been in the comfort of her home, not the home my parents bought. Since my parents thought it was only going to be a few days, they did not make out a lease, but abided under an oral agreement. After a few days had passed my parents asked them to leave. However the son and his girlfriend refused to leave and said that they were going to stay there for a few months. According to them this house belonged to the son, because it was originally his mothers. But his mother SOLD it to my parents along with an ongoing family dispute. My parents had to take them to court to make them leave, and what hurts me the most was not the situation itself but the comments that this friends son and his girlfriend hurled at my parents in court, This sickening couple said that my parents had promised this and done that and then the girlfriend even said my father tried to make advances on her. My father and mother were always together when they were at that house. They were never apart, I know my father I am with him 95% of the time, he is a good man. My parents' friend, the guys mother did side with my parents at the court case and offered herself as a witness to help my parents with case.. Now currently I am seeing deja vu. My father who has finished work on a vehicle wants to sell it. He was looking for a buyer, and with upcoming land taxes he wanted to find a quick buyer. Thier friend came over a few days later and said wanted to know if my dad had a vehicle that her son can buy. After the last mishap, I would think my father would be against any sale or legal dealing with the friends son. I wanted to know the friends son's additional court history, and it was an frightening sight. I Checking the court files I found out her son has already tried to sue two companies this year. To me the idea of my Dad selling this vehicle to this friends son is way past ridiculous. He still wants to sell the car to this guy after I told him about his past: the same guy who took advantage of him, lied about him, tries to make a living off of lawsuits, and he wants to sell the car to him? I a future law student (fall) and I know that this friends son could sue us for so many things about the car. I drove this week and had it inspected, the mechanic said it was in good shape and is running smoothly. So I know the car is a good deal, but you could do something to the vehicle and claim the owner had sold it to him in that state. And based on the courtfiles, he has made past statements. I am trying to talk my Dad out of this, and he mentioned that he would get the buyer to sign a best as warranty or something along the lines of that. What that means is that if something is wrong with the car in the future, the seller is not at fault. But I can;t believe that would work too well in a legal situation. Because you can always say that the seller was not honest about the sale, claiming the "Buyer Beware clause". I know that I am going to get into a big argument with my Dad. He is in Canada for a few days and will be back on Frida My Dad will be back in on Friday, so I have three days to find a buyer for the car. Am I wrong to object, to refuse the sale.

what would you do? we bought a trailer 2 months ago and now we are selling it on ebay as we no longer have the car with a tow bar on it and we are buying an estate so a trailer is no longer needed however we keep getting emails from a guy sayin it is his and he had his stolen he wont tell us how long it has been stolen for and wont give us any info i telephoned to police as he keeps threatening us they told us to get ac rime reference number off him and the area and date it was stolen so we can compare when we bought it from a carboot sale also so the police can check the reference number and tell us if it is the same brand trailer so i emailed the guy asking for this info but he hasnt emailed back i dont know what to do i dont wanna give him it if he is connig us but i don t want to have his trailer if it is his also he has just registered on ebay as well so he got no feedback what would you do i dont know whether to take it off ebay thanx in advance

Tricky DMV question. Export...? Ok, I have been successfully exporting vehicles from the US to abroad for many year, I have however just hit a road block. I do not have a dealers license and never thought I needed one. I buy cars here in the US (new and used) and title them under my New Hampshire company name. Then I ship them with the title. I was recently told by the DMV that I could no longer do this, I spoke with a lawyer and he seems to think I can because the statue states only about selling cars in NH, and I am not selling anything in NH. I am not selling cars in the US at all. I am buying them, and shipping them. There is no bill of sale in the US, since when the car arrives the title is transferred to the company receiving the vehicle in the foreign county (cars, trucks, tractor trailers, heavy equipment, boats). I do receive a bill of sale when I purchase the vehicle and take the MCO/MSO to get a title. So does anyone know if the limit really is 5 cars to sell in NH. And even if so, does that really apply to me because I am not selling cars. I know many people in other states that do this and many in NH and they have never had a problem.

I have a salesperson license. I want to buy and sell cars, do i have to tell them i am a dealer when buying??? I am getting my salesperson license, and my friend is the one who is getting the actual dealers license. I am going to buy and sell cars, trailers, motorcycles etc.. The majority of the items i buy and sell are straight from the public. Do i have to tell them i am salesperson or dealer, i guess? I know you have to say and show your dealer # when you sell, but what about buying. Can i just have them wright the bill of sale to me, then just transfer the title in to the dealers name? Because there is no limits on how many cars you can buy, it is just how many cars you sell a year. Saying i am dealer is just going to kill alot of deals for me.
