  1. I can totally help you, I am an insurance agent in NJ. Encompass is a very reputable company. You are in good hands. Geico has some problems associated with it. As a direct writer of auto ins. they allow you to pick limits that aren't adequate. You want to make sure that the limits fit the coverage you need. You also want to make sure the company has a good financial reputation and good claims settlement in case you need a claim settled. Geico does not have good claims settlement. You should only choose Geico if you financially can only afford bare bones coverage. Most other carriers will not allow you to limit your coverage so low.
  2. Encompass is good. Well, you should get to your local agents in your area or ask your friends about their personal experiences with these different company... With that, you can compare which is the ideal insurance company for you. Also, you can check out auto insurance online. They offer free car insurance quote.
  3. There is a bunch of useful information like articles, pictures, videos here to help answer your quetion.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/florida-car-insurance-quote.html

  5. in order to verify if a company is good.... check their AM Best rating first. You can not be a good company without a good financial rating..... no money = bad company..... Your best bet for finding the most competitive rates is to call a few independent agents. That way you will have all the quotes from a bunch of companies with just a few calls. Most companies these days are pretty good on claims.... service has become top priority. I can tell you for sure Travelers is VERY competitive and is FANTASTIC on claims and that's from personal experience. So get out there and be a good consumer and shop around, just 3 independent agents probably will get you options for at least 10 different companies. Good Luck!
