can i really save a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO?

1. Call and find out, thats what I did, they should give you a free quote over the phone, I found them a little tooo expensive for me, so I went with someone else.
2. NO WAY! Geico is soooo expensive its not even funny. They have never beat a quote from even the more expensive companies. Go ahead call them, you will laugh them right off the phone when they give you their quote.
3. Geico does not save many people money. If you have a good driving record, I think State Farm is one of the best right now. They are great for young drivers too as long as they have a good driving record.
4. Even if they can save you a few bucks, what happens if you have questions or a claim? You will have no one locally to talk to or go see. You'll be stuck calling a 1-800 number and getting bounced around. I would check the insurance directory for a local agent: http://www.findlocalinsurance.com It lists agents by zip code.
