Overhaulin'

Does anyone have either Geico or Progressive car insurance.? Or any of the smaller national companies?

I need to change from State Farm. They are charging me an arm and a leg after 10+ yrs as a customer, and a good driving record. But the past year I have been 'dinged' several times. Which has cost me a very considerable raise- 75%- in premiums. I am getting good rates from Geico and Progressive. But I do not know of anyone in my family or circle of friends who have either of the 'new guys'. I would like some feedback. Thanks Thanks for the information. I am shopping today for more quotes. I just needed to be reassured they fulfill their claims for lower rates.

1. I've had both and have used esurance, too. I have not made any claims with either Progressive or esurance, but I have has to make claims with Geico and they were really great. Right now I'm with Progressive as they gave me a better rate than either other company. Between all of those, I would say choose Geico.
2. They are all required to follow the guidelines per your state its OK to look for the best price
3. Yeah, I quit state farm about twenty years ago. ( Like a good neighbor, they want you to be silent and just send money) try Farmers Insurance Group, they are alot cheaper, and better quality service.

5. i have had great results with both Safeco and Encompass. My boss said he had a terrible time with Progressive.
