- no, but you will be paying a lot if you have your own policy
- If you drive their cars or if they own your car...then yes
- Well not if you don't drive the car. But if you do drive the car, tell your parents to talk to Progressive about having you added on. But trust me you will pay a hefty load of cash to get you on the policy.
- If you want to drive their car you have to be insured. It probably costs less to add you to their insurance than for you to buy your own policy.
- No, they can list you as excluded and you would never be allowed to drive the car. But as long as you live at home and have a license, you should be added to their insurance. It will raise their rates of course.
- Most insurance companies won't insure you on your own until your 18.In some states it is age 21.So if you want to drive the answer is yes.
- Yes, if the address on your drivers license is the same as their residence. All licensed drivers residing at an address must be named on the policy.
- If you are living in their house and a licensed driver, most state REQUIRE you to be added onto the policy. If you drive their cars, then yes, you need to be added. Or you can get ur own policy. At the very least they should add you as an excluded driver. As an excluded driver it will not cause any changes in the premium.
