Overhaulin'

I have a Minnesota Drivers license and got a speeding ticket in Kansas. Will this affect my MN Insurance?

Ticket was 55 in a 35 in Fairway Kansas. I have Progressive Car Insurance.

  1. yes Your D. Licence is the same in every state. Insurance companys use your drivers licence number to track activity in every state in america
  2. yes this one will follow you back to your home state,it may take some time ,but eventually they will know about it,drivers license numbers are traded from one state to another,good luck on it.
  3. well that depends on your driving rec if its your first offence then no most insurance companys wont give u a surgarge for your ticket but u also wont get any points for good or bad driveing usally in massachuetts it take 6 years to get a ticket off your driving rec but if u drive 3 years in a row it wont affect your driving rec at all hope this helps
  4. It's up to the insurance company whether or not they want to raise your premium. But yes, they will find out about it.
