I need a good insurance company, my license was cancelled by mistake and now my ins. co. has cancelled me.?

I am fighting it with the Division of Insurance in my state but it is going to take a few weeks(6-8) I was told in the meantime I need a good car insurance company that will take 20% down. I live in Massachusetts

1. If you've been cancelled for nonpayment, or if you owe an insurance company any earned premium in MA, no one is going to give you payments - they're ALL going to require payment in full. But also, NO ONE is going to give you insurance with you not having a valid license. You have to get the license reinstated FIRST, then get the insurance. You can't DRIVE without a valid license. So no one will insure you to drive, without one. You CAN list another household member as the operator . . . but I don't remember if MA allows operator exclusions or not. The GOOD news is, you can have your agent put you in the assigned risk pool. So you CAN get insurance, just not payments.
