toyota avanza engine defect(broken)?

I wish to lodge a complain on my two months old toyota avanza 1.5G which I purchased on 24.3.2008. On 30.5.2008, while driving, the engine gave out a loud noise and broke down. The car was then towed back to Toyota service centre in K.Terengganu.Malaysia. Upon checking, it was found that there was a cracking hole of about 1 cm in diameter to the left of the engine block casing. My question is: Is the Toyota car so unreliable? Will the Toyota recall this car and replace a new car to me which I think I am entitle to because the broken engine was cause by factory defect i.e negligence on your part. With the slogan "As a company that prides itself on Customer Satisfaction" I deeply feel that Toyota should bear all the responsibility to overcome this problem amicanly and satisfactorary. Tq. 1. This isn't Toyota, friend, but I agree that it is their responsibility. You have to deal with the dealer and have it fixed under warranty. They will replace the engine, but not the whole car.
