Should i pump Unleaded or Leaded gasoline to my car?

Leaded is cheaper I live in Malaysia. And i'm driving a Toyota Vanette Lite Ace. Leaded petrol is Rm1.88 per litre Unleaded petrol is Rm 1.90 It's cheaper by 2 cents.

  1. Use unleaded. leaded fuel is known as diesel. And from what I know about Toyotas, not many of them run on diesel.
  2. UNLEADED...unless you want to screw your car up.
  3. Your car probably will be designed for unleaded. U did not say what year or make so i can not tell you for sure. But if it came from the USA in the last 20 years UNLEADED is required.
  4. Fist of leaded gas is not deisel. Big difference. They have stopped making cars that use leaded fuel here in the states some 20 years ago. The lead acted as a lubricant and helped keep your valves clean. I doubt a your toyota would require leaded gas. But its hard to say in malaysia.
  5. If your car is designed to run on unleaded it should say so on the inside of the gas cap door. If not check to find out if it has a catalytic converter, the converter will get damaged by the leaded gas. Also check the owners manual or check with a dealer to find out. In America the gas tank has a smaller hole for the unleaded gas so the nozzle won't fit for leaded gas.
