Malaysia 50 years of Indepent Day, shame or proud?

Malaysia has been a free country for 50 years but not much of things has been achieved. Unlike other countries like South Korea, Singapore and others who late gain independent and political steadiness, Malaysia technology and economy is far behind from them. Our National car PROTON is the worst image for our country. Others foreign manufacturer can successfully carve their names on the world list like TOYOTA, KIA and others but PROTON? Everytime the new product came out is almost the same as the previous car's design. Take a look at the Proton Saga, ten years ago is the same design as ten years later .No improvement at all! .This time, the Persona is juz like the shape of GEN2. No wonder lose to the foreign imported car.Memalukan.

3. Hei hei, I agree what you said above and what u said is correct but we also have another proud site. We able to live in this country with peace and 'harmonious' society. Look at south korea, after independence for so long but still need to face North Korea. Japan is in political chaos. i admit we are losing to them in terms f technology but at least we are in peace and stable right? The PROTON not lack of technology, juz only wanna make cheap-cheap car available for Malaysian. Although i dun like this country education system where quota comes first, anyway we as non-pribumi still can travel out to foreign country to RECEIVE better education right? Thus, i can say we are proud and in the same time shame also. Lolz!!! juz hope for another incoming 50 years of improvement.
