Are we being conned Have new car prices gone down?
as they say, to make us more in line with the rest of Europe I dont think so because they have taken out things like fog lights and you have to pay again for them if you want them. .And its still cheaper to buy an import from say Malta,

- Cars are only going down because the dealers can't sell them. They're way over-priced, and are not worth the money it takes to pay for them. KIA, Hyundai, and some lower priced Gm cars(Aveo; for instance), have proven to be better cars then ever before. The Unions won't like me to say that, but it's true. Do no, I repeat, Do Not, pay over $20,000 for a car. You lose so much value when it leaves the dealership, that it's just not worth it anymore. With a shaky economy, high gas prices, and the possibility of the breakout of war in the Middle East, keep what you've got. Fix it, paint it, and put on some new tires. It's better than going into debt in the age we live in. Trust me on that one.
- Yes we are being conned! If the rest of Europe are anything to go by we are paying over the top for everything including the tax on the fuel that goes into your car. Its one pull the wool over the brits eyes again. We are told they have reduced prices only to find they are fiddling with the actual amount you get for your money! Blame your beloved government!
