looking to buy a car, i have heard flordia has cheap cars, im from michigan but not afraid to drive that far?

for a good car, im going off to college and i was looking for a decent car wich will be reliable, im thinking like a cavalier, or maybe a cobalt? idk how they are on gas, im also wondering how cheap i could get a new one, if i could get that cheap enough ill just buy new, or where should i look for used ones? thanks.

1. a new cobalt would be about 12k new and 24-34 mpg.
2. go to www.autotrader.com and type in your search.
3. if you want nice cars for not all that much money go to racingjunk.com and then go into the street cars category, there is a crapload of really nice cars that are cheap
4. florida has a lot of car lots with shaddy owners, si I wouldn't recommned coming down here to buy one, also when you take it back to mich. you have to pay for a mich. title and that costs more. best to do is check sites up there, like auto trader and such to find local owner or try a dealer for one. when I moved from ohio to fla. I had to pay about 400.00 per car to transfer plates over.
