- no get a new one
- Where did you find it at? I'll tell a person from experience don't be quick to take a good price you have to really check out a used car cause when you buy one and it sucks you stuck with it
- I couldn't say without driving it. That is very high mileage for that age. But if the car is in good condition and isn't in need of major repair. Cars tend to need things around that age. I would say have it really looked over before buying it and try researching that make and model on such websites as edmunds.com or carfax.com. Good Luck!
- Are you sure ? so cheap don get con.
- Although it seems like a really low price, you need to consider other factors when purchasing a vehicle. For instance, the mileage on the vehicle is 110,000. The car is only three years old. That would basically mean that the vehicle is driven 35000+ miles per year. That's A LOT of miles. You should be able to find a much better car if you're patient. Remember to use kelley blue book whenever you have a chance. www.kbb.com
- No due to they are 12-15 new and do not last or hold any vslue. Book on it is 500.00
- My wife had a Cavalier when we met and it was the worst car I've ever seen in my life. The timing belt broke at 88,000 miles and the motor locked up! It should have at least gotten 100,000 miles before the engine had to be rebuilt. Then we had a hard time finding a replacement motor because apparently that was a common problem and there were few junk yards with a working motor for one. Please do not get it. I don't know you so I have no reason to lie to you. The motor makes a ticking sound all the time when running. Every salesperson you ask about that says "oh, that's normal for these!" They're full of crap. Ticking means BAD VALVES! Avoid this vehicle at all cost.
- your looking at some big repairs down the road friend , last year i bought a 2000 kia sephia for about 4,000 dollars low miles 45or 46,ooo miles i have a 1999 kia sephia i bout 4 years ago i think maybe 3 no its 4 years im sure .. i had 31,000 miles on it then when purchased i have about 59,000 on it now .. for now on check out repos most have low miles and a good price , forget the mechanic!! dont buy that car !!way to o much mileage on it . i am a christian male please reconsider .. u will be sorry if u do buy that car!! mj
- Just make sure you get a mechanic to check it out first before you buy it!
- I have a friend who drives a Cavalier. He really likes it and has never really had any problems with it. Have a mechanic look at it before buying to see if there are any major obvious problems just to be sure.
- That is alot of mileage. A car of that age should only be turning around 36,000 miles. I would ask to see service history before I even thought about buying this car. If the car has a SOLID service history I think it is a very good buy. You will want to see all oil changes, all tune-ups, and all scheduled maintenance. If they don't have this, or just a occasional receipt for an oil change, walk away, this car has been beat and will only be a problem.
- Cavy's are good in that year. There's 2 ways to get that kind of miles on a car that's 4yrs old, Highway and Taxi. I'm thinking Hwy. Talk them down to 32-3500 and it's a steal. Change to synthetic oil and your good. The block in those was actually GM's best until the Cobalt which uses the Saab engineered block (WAY BETTER BTW). But you'll still get at least 170k out of it. And around 150k you can sell it for another without loosing much if any at all.
- I have an 03 Grand Am with about 110k on it. I put almost all of those miles on it, but it's still a great car. If it's been taken care of, you're probably okay.
