How can you get the best used car deals in the market?

Public Comments

  1. look at the blue book value of cars, then buy it from a private owner.
  2. you just have to shop around. the best deals you can get are cars that have low miles, are newer models and are being sold for under blue book value. buy a n.a.d.a value book before you go car shopping. get an idea of what you want. check the value of the car in the book against the sticker price. the bank won't finance you more than it's blue book value so keep an eye out for that if you're not wanting to put down a down payment. you have to be careful with used cars. carlots very often add costs to the vehicles to cover repairs that have to be done on that car or even another car. they have to cover everything somehow. so you could be paying for another car on the lot to get new tires in the price of the car that you're actually buying. don't let them highball you. if they want to sell it, they'll negotiate. make sure you arm yourself with information on the car that you want. don't go blind. take someone with you that knows about cars. so they can check it out while you're talking to the saleman. protect yourself and your money. play it smart and you'll outsmart the dealers!!
  3. local wercher yard action open to the public
