How can I get a good deals on a new car from dealer. Want to buy Yaris Hatch back?

I have 2002 ford escort and want to trade with new toyota yaris. but I want to know what is the fair price and how to deal with dealer. MSRP means something important? How can I avoid unpleasant wasting time and money. If someone has recent buying experience, that will be helpful. Thank you.

  1. Do a lot of reseach on the Yaris. Get prices from Edmunds.com and negotiate with your dealer from invoice price up, not MSRP down. Do a test drive to make sure you absolutely like the vehicle before you sign any papers. You CANNOT take a car back later. Some people will tell you that you have 3 days to cancel a purchase. That is simply wrong. There are no such laws. Unfortunately, buying a new car nearly always means some wasted time. You can do some of your initial negotiating over the phone or via email with a dealer, but eventually, you'll have to go in. 2. do research and nogetiable with them
  3. Because of the demand of the Yaris, you really won't get any discount. And besides there is only about $700.00 markup anyways. Manufacture Suggested Retail Price = MSRP
