Hearing that best deals on new cars usually happens right after summer, can the same go for the Toyota Prius?

I was told you wait for about a couple months because they're custom built and then shipped to you factory fresh from Japan.

1. with the price of fuel the way it is, it is doubtful that the prius will be offered with any discounts or deals. there also will not be very many leftovers or holdovers on the lots. they are quite popular now.
