Is there an American car company that offers a hybrid that has positive reviews?

I'm not a global warming activist, I'd just like to save on gas. And please, don't tell me foreign cars are better or that I should be a global warming activist. I'm not interested in being converted into your beliefs. Thank you to all who contribute

1. I thought GM had one..
2. The ford escape has a hybrid out that claims to get 33 miles to the gallon hwy and i think 28 city.
3. GM makes some, check thier website to find out more. Ford is slowly getting there too.
