Looking for Tayota Yaris owners- how do you feel about your car?

Looking for owner reviews of the (American) Tayota Yaris hatchback (yes, I checked the yahoo car reviews, just nosing around some more). Particularly interested in people's experiences if they have long commutes/put a lot of mileage on, and driving in the winter. Thank you!

2. Had a 2000 here in Nassau, Awesome little car. Plenty of power. Ran the little thing into the ground and it still ran. Here is a tip. The stock stereo it comes with, It has a amp just for the back speakers. If it did not come with back speakers, get someone to hook up some 6 X 9's for you. biaxial or tri.....You will be amazed on the great sound. All they have to do is cut the holes. The wires are already there.
3. My step dad has had a Toyota yaris for 4 years. Its a very reliable car cheap to run and insure. I like this car as he taught me to drive in it and i passed my test in it. He commutes to work in it daily and because its a small car he can park it almost anywhere. Hope Ive helped and good luck
