is the acura TSX a good car?

everyone is saying the 2009 model is ugly. what color do you think it looks best in? also, whats the difference between honda and acura? why am i hearing so many negative things about the looks on this car also, i heard that its basically the honda accord. so whats the difference with that as well? ive been shopping around and i think ive made my decision i just wanted to hear everyones opinions and such :]

1. acura is just the higher end of brand of honda, acuras come with more luxury and stuff. who cares what people think if the car is ugly, if you like it buy it its a nice good car. id get a black or a blue one! you can compare the acura tsx to the 4 cylinder 2008 accord, the accord has a 2.4l inline 4 cylinder engine with 177hp and the tsx has the same engine but has 171hp, the tsx has more bells and whistles
2. Acura is a "high end" Honda, just like "lexus" is to "toyota" A TSX is a great car, stylish, dependable, and good resale. If you like the way it looks, then who cares what everyone else thinks? black looks the best, but you have to keep it clean. if you are a little lazier with the car washes, then go silver, it hides very well
3. Why are you buying a 2009? You should shop around. There are a lot better cars out there.
4. first of all, it's a four cylinder (201hp) with a price tag of $35,600. that's in the same ballpark as the infiniti G35 ( 306hp, V6) and the lexus IS350 (306 hp, V6)
5. What on earth does it matter if a car has 4, 6 or 8 cylinders if it has the horsepower you need ?
6. Jeff T: I don't know where you've been looking at your Acura's but the TSX is definitely not $35K. You can get one fully loaded at MSRP for about $32 to $33K. It is a smaller engine than the Lexus and the Infiniti but it's also a couple of grand cheaper if you were to just get the basic trim. I personally just purchased a 2008 TSX last Nov. in black with black interior and although there are some minor flaws with the car, I am still happy with my choice overall. I was actually debating btween the TSX and a fully loaded 08 Accord but ended up choosing the TSX because they have better features and just look a lot better overall appearance wise. 205 HP is not that bad for a compact car and it's also fun to drive. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my car so I am definitely happy with my choice.
