Best Commuter Car?

Looking for a car with the following criteria - New (2008 / 2009 model) - Japanese / European - No more than 10-15K on the road price - 4 doors - Power everything (windows, doors etc.,)

1. VW Rabbit, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic. About it.
2. Check out Scion. They're great on gas, reliable, and have a very long list of standard features. The xD is 15,170 - a touch above your stated price range but it's a great car with lots of cargo space and great gas mileage.
3. im sorry, but i dont think you'll get all you want with your price budget. Right above yoru price budget is a VW Rabbit. Its an amazing car, i own a jetta myself, but it's not the best commuter car. It's not as good on gas as others, and it's high oil change price is expensive to keep up on. here are very good cars for daily commutes: Scion xD Toyota Yaris Toyota Corolla Honda Civic Honda Fit Nissan Versa Nissan Sentra good luck!
4. check out the NANO, TaTa from India!
5. Can you drive a manual transmission? If so, that might give you the extra $1,000 or so you'd need for power everything. Visit the dealerships, take everything for a drive, and buy the one you like best.
