Would it be best for me to get a 2008 model or 2009 (in the future)?

I wouldn't get a car until August of next year, and by then i'm sure they'll already have a few models for the following year which will be 2009. Should I get a 2008 model or 2009? Also, i'm not to fond of "older" cars. But if someone gave it to me i'd take it, but I wouldn't buy one. What would you do?

1. Go with the 2008 they'll be discounted in order to make room for the new 2009's and as long as there's no major change in the car from '08 to '09 no one will know. But if there is a major change to the car styling definitely go with the 2009.
