- the Autotrader car looks like it's in better shape, and I like the color. The price is a little higher with higher mileage; I would try to negotiate the price down a bit. BTW, Consumer Reports rates the 1999 Grand Prix as having average overall reliability, and worse than average reliability for engine major issues, engine cooling, transmission major issues, and engine minor issues.
- I would sya the one with a better transmssion! You wouldnt want to be stuck with a bad one trust me!!!! I would take a mechanic with you to inspect the cars. Usually if you pay them like $20 bucks the will go with you. I realyl suggest that.
- in passion and costly honda CR-V In milage and good maruty 800
- Don'y but either, buy a Dodge Aries or Plymouth Reliant and save on gas!
- I'd prefer to buy Craig's List one unless Autotrader one can match the price. But then again I'd want to take both to a Independent Mechanic I trust. See what they find. I assume you have done the due diligence with Carfax for both. 1. It has less Miles on it. 2. I personally prefer Turbo charger instead of Supercharger. 3. With Red color, you notice Scratches & peel/dings more. 4. See if either was owner was Smoker or Smoked in. 5. Take a look at what's the condition of the Seats & Interior. That's best list I can think of right now. In short if all the things are equal, Price Point Wins.
- I'd go with the one on craigslist it looks better and cheaper
- def the red one!! and they both actually look like good buys, nice job!
- I prefer the first one. The second has worse wheels and looks as if it has some fog in the headlamps. If it is actually water you may have some hefty repairs down the road. You would because the water could completely wreck your lighting system, costing a grand or so to repair. The first one has less miles and a lower cost. Ask for a Carfax History Report. It would be nice to know the past of your car. Good Luck
- I would prefer second one. I guess you should also check insurance quotes for the car before buying one, for example here: http://autoinsurance.hotusa.org All v6 are expensive to insure.
