- u could get something better for that much.
- I would say no because it has over 100,000 miles on it. The repairs on BMW are really expensive and if I were going to buy a car I would look in to something with less mileage on it.
- It's not necessarely a bad deal. You just have to know two things about BMW: 1. Though they are very reliable compared to other German automakers, they still break, and when they do, it ain't cheap. This vehicle will last for another 80-100k, but it will take a lot of Benjamans to get there. 2. BMW is a premium brand. Therefore, the services cost an arm and a leg to perform. Even if you do it yourself, the parts alone aren't cheap.
- Look on edmunds.com, used car appraiser, it's great- you'll need to put in your zip code. They list this car as a 'used car best buy' . . . so good job on that. The price is a little high, (they say 9500 dealer, 8400 private party), but maybe you can negotiate. http://www.edmunds.com/used/2000/bmw/3series/10587/options.html?tmvaction=vdpresult
- I would say yes. The mileage sucks, but the car looks pretty clean inside and out and the extras/installations it comes with are good. It's nice looking, BMW is always a good buy and the price seems reasonable Go for it
