Honda Civic 2008 or 2009?

Should I get the Civic 2008 now or wait for the 2009 one? Its my first car and I have college next year so i need it. When does the 2009 come out...and when will there be a redesigned model of the civic

1. I think the biggest concern right now for choosing a car would be its Gas Mileage. Go check out Honda's website.
2. wait until the 2009 comes out (septemberish) and then compare what the differences are between the two years. you might even get a good deal on a 2008 civic when the '09s come out. civics are supposed to get redesigned until 2011/2012, they get redesigned about every 5 or 6 years. i have been looking at the civics and was curious to find out what a 2009 might have. i searched on online and found discusions that were talking about possible changes in the 2009 civics. I found that they might be doing away with 3 colors (the black, borrego beige, and the galaxy gray). they will replace these with a new black, gray and white ones. there is also rumors that 2009 civics might get better mpgs but idk if its true. and 2009 civics might have different lights head lights and tail lights.
3. I just bought a Civic 2008 (best car I ever own and I love it). I would wait towards the end of 2008 when dealers are selling the new 2008 (at discounted prices) models to make room for the new 2009 models. I would have waited but I was in dire need of a new car so I bought mine in January.
