I am about to buy my first car, I am 21 years old, I want a new car I would like to put $2,500 down. Here are several I have in mind. I don't know much about cars. I went through vehix.com Under $20,000 before tax. 2007 2007 Ford Focus 2007 Ford Fusion 2007 Honda Accord Sedan 2007 Honda Civic Sedan 2007 Kia Optima 2007 Mazda Mazda6 2007 Nissan Altima 2007 Nissan Sentra 2007 Nissan Versa 2007 Toyota Corrola 2007 Toyota Yaris 2007 Volkswagan Jetta Sedan Quite the bit I know price range between $11,000 to $18,000 Or any other car that you think might suit me that I did not put down. Obviously I am going to test drive them but it's good to read others opinions.

  1. i love you so much too
  2. i love the jetta, im going to buy a used one when i turn 16.
  3. the new 2007 Nissan Altima 2 door coupe,is perfect 4 you...is hot car.
  4. I think a Nissian Altima is good ...or a BMW they are good too! Hope i Helped out! Have a good day! and good luck with your car~!
  5. just think about it in ur own its the best coz it would be ur own idea and best to suffer
  6. Narrow down your list by taking it to a few mechanics in your area. Ask them what problems they see with the cars listed. Beware, one might say "These are junk" just based on opinion. So its worth asking a few. I had a Honda Civic and I loved it. Zippy, GREAT resale value, they run for decades. Good choice.
  7. Toyotas are great cars. I have had one for the past 7 years and just bought a new one yesterday. I drive a Camry. My old one never had any problems and got awesome gas mileage.
  8. I'd say get a minivan because if your like most of us Americans, by the time you get it paid off, you're really gonna need the minivan and NO car payments.
  9. go scion tc....with most those other cars...your gonna be buying such a depleted 4 clynder version..go for a ride that has a lot of options and such right out of the box...and a prettty nice engine to go along with it...
  10. Any Honda or Toyota will last a long time and do you quite well.
  11. I would vote for either the Altima or the Mazda6. The Jetta is a great car, but I have concerns that their quality isn't what it used to be. Also, unless you live in a large city, it can be hard to find a helpful VW garage. The Altima just keeps getting better looking all the time and the Mazda6 is just a great car for the money. They are both well built cars with great reputations! Just my $.02...
  12. out of your choices i would say toyota yaris if it was my coice i would say the lexus LF-A
  13. You need something reliable, which means that you should knock Ford, Kia, and Volkswagon off your list. I know Jettas are popular with kids but they are total junk. The altima is a good choice, but I personally love the new Mazdas. They are incredibly stylish and fun to drive, they hold value, and its not a car you'll "outgrow" in a few years. They also get great gas mileage and are safe and inexpensive to repair. Really a nice choice. Good luck!
  14. New Jeep Wranglers start @ $18k if you wait until late November a new '07 should be $15-16k. Good gas mileage, a cool car that keeps it's value and it's fun fun fun! Atleast test drive one =D
  15. Well...you have quite a large price range there. I would go with a 2007 Toyota Corolla S. I have the 2007 Toyota Camry SE, and It is BEAUTIFUL! The Corolla S is like its little sister. It is affordable and with you being 21, you shouldn't commit to an expensive car. I have always driven Ford Mustangs in the past and had many problems with my Fords. This is my first Toyota and I love it so far. Toyotas also hold their value well. Be careful also because every dealership you go to will check your credit when you hand them your ID to test drive it. It will knock your credit score down a point or so, so be careful because it can really add up. Good luck car shopping!
  16. Are you ready? This answer is worth gold! This answer is worth in the short run $8000 to $10000. In the long run, its a fat retirement account and you won't have to depend on the government when you're old. $250 a month spread out in a few mutual funds in the stock market over 30 years will be about: $625,000. Assuming an 11% return. Since its inception, the stock market has done on average between 10% to 12% a year. Yes there are low times, but when it rebounds it really jumps up. So when you're 51, you could have $625,000 saved up from no car payment. When you're 61, that money would be: $1,832,752 (That's almost $2 million) You are sacrificing your future with a stupid car payment. If you seek wisdom while you're young, riches will follow when you're older. (Not necessarily when you're old, just older.) Answer: 2001 Honda Civic or something like that. Why?: You buy a brand new car, you're going to get behind the 8 ball financially in life. Pay cash for a good used car. 3 reasons to pay cash for a used car. 1) A car depreciates like crazy. 5 years seems to be the sweet spot where the depreciation doesn't break your purse. 2) After 5 years, you can find out what the lemons are and what to stay away from. 3) Instead of making a car payment. Put that money into a mutual fund or a 401K or Roth IRA or something. At 21 sweetie, 21 if you start doing this, you can have the option to retire at 35, latest 40. Be wise. Go online to http://www.consumerreports.org and pay the $5 or $10 for the membership. Use their resources to find out what the lemons are and what to stay away from. Use kbb.com to find the market price. Use craigslist or autotrader to find the car. See all links below. btw I'm not retired yet but, I'm 35 years old and have no debt whatsoever. My house is paid for and my car is paid for and I've got a chunk save up in the retirement accounts. Those who thumb this down are probably ones who ignore wisdom.
  17. If you want something that should be low maintenance and last a long time without major repairs, go with a Toyota Corolla, or either a Honda Accord or Civic. If youre looking to keep this car for over 50,000 miles, these are some of the potential issues you can expect; Ford focus, expect to start spending money in repairs when you reach over 75,000 miles. Kia, may have to replace the transmission sometime after 60,000 miles and motor problems are rare, but happens usually over 70,000 - 75,000 miles. You can get over 200,000 miles on a Corolla or Civic before you have to do comparable work on these cars, as long as you do regular maintenance (regular oil changes, tune ups, etc...) The rest, I do not know much about.
  18. Hey!! I would say a small suv would be at your best bet. Like a hyundai santa fe or hyundai tuson. I have hyundai santa fe and totally love it, I am 21 as well and think its perfect for me. let me know if you have anymore questions.
  19. I'm 20, i drive a Mistubishi Lancer. It is the most perfect car. . I have an EVO. its awesome and FAST!!!! But there others more basic. I don't know with these cars you have more options. But its up to you!!!
  20. i would say chevy cobalt
  21. 1 word: Cobalt 1 website: http://chevy.com/cobalt
  22. Go with a foreign car, they are reliable and last forever. A Honda, Nissan or Toyota would be great. Mazda's are great cars too. Your best bet would be to go on to consumerreports.org. They test all new cars and used cars, letting you know all the pros and cons, problem areas, etc. Good Luck!
  23. 1. 2007 Honda Accord Sedan 2. 2007 Honda Civic Sedan 3. 2007 Nissan Altima 4. 2007 Nissan Sentra 5. 2007 Toyota Corrola THE REST ARE A WASTE OF YOUR TIME ESPECIALLY THE FORDS.
