Hi guys, I have a question to ask experienced sales and business men.?
I have been recruted to be head of sales at a firm called JEM Trailers and Load Bodies. I have earned the the possision of regional sales manager. I have studied marketing and have ample experience in all types of sales. The situation is this. JEM Trasilers desighns and builds small utility trailers that you would tow behind your car, they also build massive semi trailers all the way to super link trailers. Now I have never sold trailers before, I just need to know a couple of things. Eg, What is the best way to sell theses Trailers fast??? If you hold the secret let me know. Thank You.

- No secret. Your an experienced salesman. Just lie, steal and cheat everyone you meet, as per usual. Really, really, dumb question!
- To sell anything successfully, you have to know the product, its capabilities, limitations, advantages, etc. You have to understand why your product satisfies the customer''s needs better than or equal to a competitive product. I suggest you read the technical manuals for these trailers, and develop an understanding of their pros and cons. Talk to the guys who use trailers, truck drivers, and ask them what makes one trailer better than another.
- No secret. The buyer buys because of the benefit of the product.
