new car?????
Okay this sounds really bad because i work for a Chevrolet dealership and im considering cars other then Chevrolet. But i am looking for a new car.... something that will lower my payment (i pay 500 on my truck) and something better on gas (it cost me about 400-500 a month in gas). Here are the vehicles i am considering.... Chevrolet cobalt....Mitsubishi Eclipse.... Scion Tc... Pontiac Soltics. All would be new or barely used (under 5k miles) Which one would you choose??? I know pretty much all there is to know about the cobalt but im not real familiar with the others. or if you have any other suggestions... just no hondas, acuras, or nissans! thanks

- Toyota Yaris Sedan Stick...41 mgp..lots of fun to drive
- i would choose the eclipse thy look really nice
- The scion TC is a really pretty car. If I had a choice I would get that one. My nephew has one and he loves it.
- i would get a toyota land cursier or lexus
- Ok first off Nissans are awesomely well built fun to drive and good on gas. That being said I'd go with the solstice, just because it is cool as hell or the cobalt SS its fun to drive, plenty of power good gas mileage and its sexy.
- Hyundais get awesome gas mileage, have incredible warrantys and are a lot cheaper than most. Plus they are all redesigned and so they look great. We have an Elantra and have never had any problems with it at all and it is 5 almost 6 years old. I dont really know about any of those other cars. Good luck!
- Go with the eclipse, I have one and i love it.
- Have you checked out the newest Toyota Corolla? Great on gas!
- I would prefer the eclipse out of all the choices it has superior drivetrain that is proven. and will out resale any in the group
- Get a Honda civic, great mileage and it will last you forever. Mine is 7 years old and I have never had a problem w/ it.
- The only true American car on your list is the Pontiac Solstice. Since you already know about the piece of crap called Cobalt, I will badmouth the others. Mitsubishi Eclipse has a pretty good reputation, but when you put a few options on it, you will be paying close to what you are paying for your truck. Scion TC, is a Toyota product and they make pretty good products and most reviews of this car have been favorable. Ahhhhhh, the Pontiac Solstice. The good, the car is a styling knockout. The bad, the car has no reputation, and is reported to be underpowered. The ugly, dealers are marking them up by as much a five grand because they sell well. There is also a rumor that they suffer from a sub frame problem which makes them sag in the middle. The bottom line, The Scion TC by a nose.
