how do i sell power to the electric company?
i think that i can produce enough fuel to run a couple of car engines 24/7. how much money might i expect to make by generating electricity for sale to the electric company? is it hard to arrange for such a thing with them?

- I'm sure they would welcome you with open arms.
- I am not exactly sure what you are asking. You are talking about producing fuel, but are wanting to set up an account to sell excess electricity to your power grid. Most electric companies love to buy excess electricity. They will not give you the going rate, but if you have a true way to produce electricity then you can make a little money. My company generates electricity from landfills and sets up contracts with local electric companies to sell the generated electricity to the power grid. It works the same way as when you buy it from them. There is a meter that reads the amounts of electricity that passes through it. If you don't produce much then it isn't worth it. Try to get 3 cents per kilowatt hour if you negotiate with them.
