Where is the best place to post a car for sale online?

When shopping or selling a car online what are the top free sites you go to? Also what are some turn ons/offs when looking at a picture of a car or reading details about the car? When looking at photos what do you want to see side view, engine, trunk ect? Plain info VS In depth info: Plain Info: "4Dr. 4cyl. 1.6L 35mpg, power, locks windows ect," In depth info:" Well taken car of 4dr, 1.6L for great gas mileage up to 35+ mpg, has easy to use power windows and lock!."

  1. Ebay, Craigslist, Kijiji, etc. If possible, post multiple photos showing both the exterior and interior. Also give as much detailed information as possible. Keep in mind that everyones' car is always "A-1" or "mint condition" according to the sellers. I personally stay away from such cliches but do mention what options the vehicle has, the service history, if you were the only owner, etc. Turn off's for me ( I mentioned the cliches... ) looking at a picture of a car with a dent or rust in the picture but the seller claiming that it is mint condition. A car that has a dirty interior...if you want to sell a car, at least try to make a good impression with it. Good luck with your sale.
