How can I cancel a car sale?

How can I cancel a car sale? I HAVE NOT received any title, tags, or registration from the dealer in three months because the dealer had an unsatisfied lien on the car. The paperwork is filed out incorrectly. I just want out. In VA.

Some states have a cooling off period that may help you. Otherwise, I don't think there's a legal way out.
did you already sign? did you already pay anything? talk to the sales department at the dealer, tell them due to all the crap (but say it nicer) that has happened you just want to look else where. you could always take it to court too.
Find out from the Small Claims Court in your city. I'm sure there is a way, with an unsatified lien on the car they could not legally sell it to you. I just saw the same thing on Judge Judy yesterday. And the buyer won.
Talk to your sheriff or an asst. Ask them that if you document the problem, will they help you invalidate sale. Another call might be to the state Auto Registration office. You have been treated shabbily and perhaps illegally surrrounding the sale of an uncleared car.
Contact the Attorney General and explain what happened. Oncde you have done that, contact the dealer and tell them you want all your money back as they had no legal right to sell the vehicle.
THE ONLY WAY OUT OF THIS SITUATION WOULD BE TO CONTACT AN ATTORNEY AND SEE WHAT ARE YOU OPTIONS.
