Where is a good place to get classic car insurance that will let me commute - not only use the car for shows?
Most insurance that I'm looking into for classic cars are not willing to insure your car if you commute to work and school. They only want to insure cars that are used in shows, parades, etc. I will not drive my car every single day to work...maybe a few times during the week. I bought the car to enjoy it, not let it sit in the garage!

- grundy.com offers unlimited mileage, and i always see them advertising on Myclassic car, hotrod
- Since you are not using it in the classic car sense then you should insure it on a regular policy. I believe the Grundy offers mileage but I think that they charge for it being driving to work
- I would suggest that you have your car appraised and then insure it on a stated value policy through a mainstream insurance company. Ask your insurance agent about stated value policies to see of they have them available.
- I agree with Old School Chevelle. You need to get replacement value insurance so that you're insured for the value of the car.
