I need a bill of sale for an international auto sale?
I sold my car to a dealership in Australia and I need a bill of sale that is more detailed than the general bill of sale between two parties because it is overseas and it is a classic car.

- Then put whatever detail you'd like into the bill of sale, and give it to the buyer. Use a normal bill of sale as the jumping off point, and add to it.
- Check first with your state DMV for advice on how to document the sale. Then check with an auto broker, who can supply legal forms for international trade. The dealership in OZ can also offer advice, and maybe an address or two for specific directions for OZ legal standards, they could vary just enough to cause delays. I would suppose that a valuable classic car on international transport should have every detail of its transaction carefully noted. Any delay causing storage and legal fees can get frightfully pricey.
