  1. YOULL NEED IGNITION LOCK AND TUMBLER AND POSSIBLY IGNTION ELECTRICAL SWITCH FROM THE DEALERSHIP OR HAVE IT ASSESED FIRST TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHAT IS NEEDED.
  2. http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/05/01/14/0900823d80050114/repairInfoPages.htm this site will show you step by step information of how to do it yourself without costing an arm and a leg. you will have to pull the steering wheel and autozone rents steering wheel pullers. the part is a dealer only part so go to the chevy dealership to get one
  3. Yes, they popped the ignition lock out and then they can get to the wires to start the car. I do not know anything about a chevy class iv. as ,i do not under stand the wires coming out for the center console. To me that is between the front seats. and I do not under stand 2 red wires to start. Red wires in a car are hot wires. Unless this is just a starter button. You should have more wires. The part were the key goes is called a ignition lock, It fits in to a ignition switch, or on steering wheels a rod that go down the inside of the steering collumn, to the ignition switch. If they just popped the lock, and did no damage to the place it fix in to you may get by with just a new lock. they come with keys. If were the lock came out of was damage, you will have to have that area/part, fix/Chang out before fixing lock. If you do not under stand the work, send the car out to be fixed. Have then put a hidden switch some ware to keep the car from starting and do not tell any one about it. It may keep your car from be stolen aging.
