What do girls think of a 26 year old (male) driving a black Camaro convertible 95 model?

Some of my female friends say girls laugh at guys driving a Camaro unless they are classic cars or new. Any truth to that? What do you ladies think?

17. I wouldn't laugh, it sounds good enough. There's far more embarrassing cars you can drive, a.k.a. most dorky compact cars. Women are also pretty stupid about cars, I know I wouldn't know a thing about them if my male family members weren't into them, so they usually wouldn't be able to tell.
18. It is ok if you are a douche bag. If not stick with a classic car, or a real sports car like a Shelby. Unless you like the whole Joe Dirt thing.
19. I think you should drive what you want, and if the chicks like it (and you) great. If not, it's not their thing. I wouldn't be so worried about your car impressing the girls it's the guy behind it that counts. Having had a pretty hot car myself when I was young...we had quite the clan of James Dean types to keep me and my girlfriends entertained wherever we parked, which was usually at the old "donut hole" for coffees!
20. People who judge others by the kind of car they're driving are in for a rude awakening. Some of the wealthiest people in this world drive cars that would give no clue to their financial status nor would the car say anything about their personalities. Drug dealers and welfare queens sometimes drive the most expensive cars there are, so trying to determine what a person is like or who they are by the car they drive is stupid. I make a six-figure salary and until it got totaled I drove a little old Geo Metro around town. My kids were embarrassed and said they wouldn't be seen in it with me but I could've cared less. The thing sipped gas and it got me where I needed to go and I wasn't trying to impress anybody. I keep my BMW 325i garaged and try not to drive it very much so as not to put a lot of miles on it, but when I do drive it, it doesn't change who I am, nor do I drive it thinking "Look at meeeee!" I bought the BMW because they are great cars and they hold their value and I could afford it, but not because I cared one iota about what other people think when I drive it.
