i own a 1974 caprice classic car what do you think the value of it is?

2. it depends on if its a 2 door or a 4 door,id say around 2500-3500 depending on the condition of it,as you know the condition, the mileage, and the overall looks of it play a big role in the value of it,to the right person though it would be worth a lot,good luck with it.
3. The best way find out is to do a couple things. Check auction sites like eBay and also look in reputable publications like NADA Price Guide or the Old Car Price Guide. They will give you a lot of information. The actual value depends on who actually buys it. I have seen cars go for a lot over what they are "valued" at according to a book because someone really wants it. It can also go the other way because a particular car is not as popular any longer. Movies can also affect the price and popularity. The "Starsky and Hutch" Torino is a good example. They were going through the roof when the movie was running. Now that is is "off the radar" prices have dropped.
