  1. The porsche
  2. PORCHE 944 WITHOUT A DOUBT. THE RICE BURNER ISN'T WORTH MORE THAN 3000 DOLLARS.
  3. the porsche 944 and yes its a classic 25 years or more
  4. duh the porche
  5. Definelty the Porsche.
  6. The Porsche has a slightly better resale. Neither is considered a classic or collectible car. Only the AWD Mitsus and the 944 Turbos are of any interest to collectors, not the base models---they are just old used cars and always will be.
  7. it TOTALLY depends on the condition of the cars. both are old AND common so for collectors they are not a big deal. the 944 is probably a better choice but both will cost more than they are worth on short order should they need repair...and they WILL need repair!
  8. Buy the Porsche and you will get all the pussycat and head jobs you want. Then just repaint a cool color like white or orange.
  9. The Mitsubishi VR4 spyder is going to be worth way more than the 944. The 944 is an Audi not a "true" Porsche, True are rear engine air cooled. A non turbo 3000GT will be worth less than a stock 944. As the owner of a 1965 356C cab and a 1988 Commemorative 911 coupe http://www.russoandsteele.com/collector_car/1988_porsche_911_carrera/5941.html as well as the owner of a 1991 Dodge stealth R/T twin turbo I know what I'm talking about.
  10. There is no substitute for Porsche. No american TRASH can beat a Porsche. My 911 gt2 eats corvette for breakfast. LOL
  11. china or germany? porsche
  12. As someone else said, it really depends on the condiditon of the cars. Unless they are both pristine, I would guess that given the same condition, the Mitsu would be more valuable. 1983 was the first year and would be the least valuable of all of the years, unless again it was in pristine condition and/or had some other collector value (ie the first one, etc) It didn't have power steering and is light in weight compared to other 944's, but that would only be of interest to racers. It has the least amount of power, and most feel that you should only by a 1985.5 or ater 944 due to refinements of the later cars. You won't find anything special about the handling of a 1983 944, unless the suspension etc has been modified or updated. Power is very pedestrian at 140 I believe. The Mitsu would be newer, heavier, more power (V6 vs a 4), more modern, and probably a better car for reliability and cost of repairs.
