  1. Here are three good sites to look for classic Chevy's (and other cars). You'll see that they cover the whole price range from cheap to "more than any sane person would spend." The ones that need to be fixed up of course at the lower end. There are some pretty good deals out there for older, solid, unrestored cars. 1) The Best! http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/... 1) http://ww2.collectorcartraderonline.com/... 2) http://www.buyclassiccars.com/ (good forums, good info about how to avoid eBay ripoffs) If you are not in a rush, I would also follow cars for your area on craigslist.com. Since it is just a car selling site and doesn't specialize is expensive classics, many unrestored classics get sold inexpensively. But you may have to watch the site every day for a three or four weeks. There are a lot of opportunities out there if you are willing to settle for a driveable used car that hasn't yet been restored.
