i dont know how to find the value of a classic vehicle on kelly bluebook?

it only gives me the option to check the value of cars from the 80's to now and the vehicle i need to value is from the 60's. is there a site i can go to to get the blue-book value of an older vehicle? better yet does anyone know what a 1965 Chevy step-side truck is worth? it is unrestored and needs some body work , nothing major, it runs and drives well, it has a 230 straight 6 . the guy who has it is saying its worth 6,500 as it is, does that sound way off?

  1. Go to the Classic Car section at: http://www.nadaguides.com
  2. Try the NADA site. It has a section for classic cars and trucks. The price he wants sounds high. Check on eBay and Craigslist to see what comparable vehicles are actually selling for. The Book value is just a guide
  3. that is high , if it had a 327 and a automatic or 4 speed it would be a reasonable price, assuming it is a short bed before buying any older car or truck you should use this guide. it is the only reliable price guide... http://www.oldcarspriceguide.net/ kbb, nada ,and Edmond's are all way off base
  4. NADA.COM AND GO TO CLASSIC VEHICLES. GOOD LUCK

  6. Very often, the only way to get an accurate value of a classic car is to have it appraised. If you're actually planning on selling it, this may be worthwhile to do.
