Police Car Auctions in Orange County or LA County?

Hi guys, where can i get more information about bidding on cars that police auction off? Plus any suggestions of the positives and negatives when doing this? thanks

1. The only way you can auction the cars is to be a dealer who owns a car shop. Check out these websites: www.manhein.com www.ove.com
2. Police auctions do not require dealers permit as they are open and announced in local paper before. It is Buyer beware at these. At regular auctions you get to inspect, drive and have carfax to make descion. You will have to check your state for their requirements for permit to be a dealer. Here in Fl. itis 300.00 a year and is a state permit therefore no felonies on record.. I do not know what initial cost is. i wish everyone could go just to see that we pay what we do for used cars and why the KBB or black book prices car as they do. It is an average auction price. All cars are in fair condition as they will all need service and pass state inspections and safety laws. No car is exempt so all will need work to get to good condition which is when it can be sold at Dealer. I am talking about honest Dealers not the few who give rest bad name like any Buchanon enterprise store. You know the congressman who bought his way in as he lost on votes and18000 votes between him and opponent were lost. in county where he is from where he got 22% of votes only and rest came up missing.
