What are the pros and cons of purchasing a car or house at a Police auction?

well one pro would be you have a car or house but a con would be you have NO clue what could have happened to that car or house to be in the police auction.
Cons: You may end up with a lemon or money pit. You may also be responsible for any leins on the property. Sometimes they ask for cash on hand. Professionals hang out at these places and are ready to outbid you. Pros: You may end up with a something nice for a low price.
The two major ones are: Pros: deep discounts Cons: No inspections You could get a great deal and or ed up with a piece of crap.
You buy as is. Bottom line.
