- I know that you would have to find one of these auctions then there is usually a entrance fee
- yes they are usually someone trys to sell you info about buying them but if you look on the internet you can locate for free where theses auctions are going to take place and some of the vehicles are cheap good luck
- Goto your city, county or state website and look for auction items. My husband and I do it quite often. They also have site for homes and boats. The IRS has a great site if you want to travel for what you want .
- These are often cars that have been seized in drug busts and other sorts of illegal activity or IRS seized are seized due to tax evasion, etc. From the police, you can also often get old police cars. They are all completely legit--they are cleaned up and such and ready for you to buy. The auction houses where these cars are auctioned at should have specific info on these vehicles. Your local police precinct might be able to help you figure out where an auction will be help soon. My mother bought a car for 500$ from one of these things that our local police put on a few years ago....low mileage, great condition and never had a problem with it.
