Can I buy car insurance straight from the moneysupermarket.com website?
I did a online quote for car insurance on the moneysupermarket.com website and I got a quote that I was happy with, so I was wondering if I can purchase the insurance straight from the moneysupermarket website or do I have to go to the insurance companies website and purchase it from their. How do I go about buying the insurance from the moneysupermarket website. I took down the reference number for the quote. How do I pay for the insurance from the moneysupermarket website, do I use a credit card or a bank account or how do they accept payment. Do I need to give the insurance company any more details other than the details that I entered into the moneysupermarket website. Is the price which I was quoted be what I pay or does the quote ever go up from what the website gave me. I don't know if it matters but the insurance company is quinn-direct .

- whenever i get quotes there i get them phoning me harassing me to try and buy the insurance. last time i used their site, found the cheapest quote and then went to that insurers site to find the quote was slightly cheaper than moneysupermarket.com so maybe try that.
- there is a link from the quote to the insurance company - it will have your details already in so just make sure its all correct then buy!
- yes you can buy it online! i work for an insurance company and we get lots of people who buy it from them but make sure the cover is right because we get alot of complaints about that site
- A word of caution: Quinn Direct has had a lot of bad publicity recently over it's products, cover, claims service and financial stability. I'd think twice before insuring my car with them if I were you. As for purchasing options, there should be further instructions from the website detailing how you go about accepting and paying for any quotes generated by their site.
- Oh ok... i found this for you... better check on it, im pretty sure you'll discover something useful... http://www.myautoinsurancetips.com/
- Yes but I would recommend that whoever is cheaper go to their site and do another new quote as you may find it cheaper.
- Yes you can thats why they have their own website so that it will be easy for the clients to buy car insurance. You can still shop aorund or maybe you can still find some website of other companies that can provide you much cheaper insurance payments, try to visit this site http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com compare the rate of the company that you have against the companies listed here. Goodluck
- Either contact the insurance company by phone or e-mail and give them the quote number. Don't pay for anything until they assure you that the coverage is the same as quoted. And if you can, I would hold back until they mailed or faxed a hard copy of that quote stating the coverages, the length of time it is for and the cost. Then I'd pay or set up a payment schedule with them.
