If I would like to sale my car to the private party what kind of payment for it would be safest for me?

I have car to sale and I am not quite sure how the private party should pay for it? Should it be personal check or certify check from bank?

Bank Cashier's Check is the safest form of payment.
cash is the best, i got screwed with a fake cashers check. also get a counterfit pen, you dont know who's scamming these days
