How do I know if a certain subwoofer enclosure and amplifier will work in my car? Want to buy online, afriad.

Car is a 1992 GMC Yukon Subs are Legacy LBPS12 Dual 12" Bandpass System Amp is Legacy LA938 1200 Watt High Power 2 Channel MOSFET Amplifier Current cd player is not the factory installed one, however my boyfriend has the truck right now so I don't have details.

  1. If I read your question right, any sub will work as long as you can get it in there. If you want it to sound good, that's another story.
  2. Measure the space (H X W D) where you want to put said box and find one that fits. Too often I've seen people buy an enclosure and not have it fit. Look around on the net, there are companies that make custom enclosures that fit neatly. Be aware Legacy isn't the greatest brand.   4. As long as the current head unit has preouts, and most do, you should be fine. Even if it doesn't, you should still be fine. Go ahead and get what you want. It should sound pretty good in your Yukon. If you are stil in doubt, print out the ebay page and visit a custom audio installer to find out what they think. You might even get a better deal there. Good sound should take your mind off of the lousy gas mileage. Just kidding. Hope this helps.
