- Hey, a new question! I hope somebody uses the search feature to find this information, because I'll bet a lot of people want to ask this question. www.carmax.com motors.ebay.com www.cars.com I'd be careful about motors.ebay.com or private parties on cars.com and make sure you have your financing arranged prior to bidding on a car on eBay.
- washington post classified
- ebay
- Autotrader.com is good
- I would look at Cars.Com and Carmax.com
- www.lahaieauto.ca they are my nephews in kemptville ontario 613-258-5900 ask to speak to jack lahaie
- In my opinion, I would not buy a used car online. I would buy a used car from one of the local dealers who represent the car manufacturer of the car your interested in. First check http://www.edmunds.com and http://www.kbb.com to get an idea of what model, mileage, cost and equipment your looking for. You might pay $500 more at the dealer, but you'll get a warranty and the service shop you need to fix it when it needs maintenance or repairs.
- A used car online. Never, you can't see it, test drive it, have a mechanic look at it. If you buy a car online, I have some lakefront property in the desert I'll sell you.
- My fiance sells cars on the internet through Jim Ellis Porsche here in Atlanta. Make sure you see a lot of pictures of the car. Get a carfax history. I would buy only from big dealers. Ask a lot of questions i.e., Has the car ever been wrecked? Has the car ever been in a flood or a natural diaster? When was the last time the car was serviced? If so, for what problems? All questions should be answered, If not, do not even think of buying it.Stay away from cars that have been registered in Louisiana due to Katrina. Some people will get the car totalled by insurance and then replace the parts and sell it. Very shady. Also, get in writing everything. See if you can get a warranty on the car. carmax.com is a good place to start. If you use Ebay, make sure to read their feedback. Good Luck.
