what is the best way to buy rims for my car? Online store? Brick and mortar store? Please see details?

Does shipping costs negate the savings that I would get when I buy from an online store? I see that TireRack.com, for example, has cheap prices. I went to a brick and mortar tire store, and their rims were a lot more expensive. I always pick best answer, thanks.

1. tirerack.com allows you to virtually see the rims and tires on your car. i'm not sure about the shipping costs vs buying local, but you can probably get that figured out on line. if the store has items in stock you can have them today or you can wait for the fed ex guy to get a hernia hauling this stuff up to your apartment.
