Is it a good idea to get rid of the new car I lease and buy a used car cash?

I'd come out ahead thousands of $. But I wouldn't be driving as nice of a car, and for my job, having a beater wouldn't be as well respected.

1. you can buy a nice car for cash...you don't have to settle for a 'beater' and what do you care what others think ??? You can keep a car LOOKING respectable with a little EFFORT on your part.
2. there are nice cash cars out there u just need to search. so find the cash car and save money.
3. does your business lease the car...or is it a write off?...if you dont mind my asking what kind of job do you have? I understand if youre in real estate or another big business that you have to give the appearance of money also in order to do well or 'sell' your business to prospective investors...
4. YES! Car leases are a rip off! HUGE rip off! Car payments in general are bad. Leasing is worse. Get rid of it if you can.
5. i own a repair shop and i have never seen the purpose for leasing a car,it just don't make sense to me,anytime your paying a bill on something you should become the owner of it sooner or later,so yes if your not going to loose a lot of money, i would get out of it,owning is better than renting any day,good luck hope this helps.
